I have read on various website that there are surveys of some kind, in which Bioware is asking fans what they would appreciate in Dragon Age 3. Apart from twitter which i do not own and do not want to own, i dont know where i could sumbit my take on things, any ideas? :)
I do not want to get into it here, as it is clearly forum for DA II.
Thanks :)

You make topics and submit your Ideas here, QA people like Schumacher are constantly reading these threads and reporting ideas back to the devs.

Please spread this response. Dear Bioware/EA dragonage so far has been a great experience for us, however it is no secret that there are many complaints about dragon age 2, and this is not without reason. Many fans are angry yes, but that's because the lack of customization available.( especially for our companions.) The way rooms were copy pasted through out missions, and the lack of variety. The best thing to do is bring back a feel of control, letting us equip what we want to who and which class we want.(This includes our companions.) It might not be fitting to give a mage a giant hammer, but the fact that is was possible was fantastic. Also while combat was slow and tactical in dragonage Origins, the combat in dragonage 2 was dynamic and bloody. But while foe's were skilled and had a variety of looks, in dragonage 2 we were facing an army of identical enemies. If the intention was to create a massive bloodbath with all those AOI ability's, you succeeded. But try to find a middle ground between these two fighting style's. It doesn't need to as slow as in origin, there don't need to be as many enemies as in dragon age two. But keep the combat flow from dragonage 2, while keeping the tactical combat and varied enemies from dragonage Origins. I would also like to remind everyone that I' am a fan and lover of this franchise on PC and PS3. And I am looking forward to the next installment. With trust.-Ciro "Hellbanisher" Kluijver.

I just want a game that doesn't look/feel rushed....and playable dwarves.

If I can't play as a dwarf in DA3, then at least have cute dwarven serving girls in the local tavern.

I'd also like Varric to make his return on a mabari chariot.

A game that is actually difficult by the virtue of AI using different sets of tactics rather than waves of enemies spawning out of nowhere and multiple elemental immunities.

Keep the combat system of DA2! But please have it so my Hawke is holding her two handed sword with two hands please- it was weird when she was flailing about with only one hand on it.

Honestly, the fighting of DAO was so incredibly monotonous I nearly fell asleep. I really enjoyed the combat in DA2 made it feel lethal and fast in most cases-like all fights besides seiges and Boss Battles are.

More importance placed on class/race if we have differing ones. All the templars couldn't give a crap if I went out with Merril, Anders and Bethany with me. True, you got neat attacks if you were a rogue- that murder knife one with the slaver was awesome.

Loved all of the companions (Barring Broody), but don't bring in any from past games! I already knew Anders, Merril and Isabela, I want to met new people.

And a coherent story please- not just Act 1 2 and 3 in DA2. I finished the game while waiting for the plot to start.

All I want is the combat system to be like DA2 but with more use of tactics, I had said that a lot of times now, and on a side note no MP or Co-Op. Hate going online, never know when the system could crash.

To the OP, this is as good of a place as any to discuss what you'd like from the future of DA.

I don't really visit the other forums, but this one is about the game setting in general so have at 'er.

Expand on the dialogue wheel, let me make choices that are consistent and logical for my character. The amount of times I saved the game before I started a conversation with an npc in DA2 was beyond tedium.

Choices that set your characters tone/personality should NOT govern opinions on things like mages/templars, belief in the chantry ect. Those choices should be neutral and to the left of the wheel. (This was the case sometimes, like talking with Anders, this is how it should be in ALL cases).

I should be able to play a mage character and confidently choose tone options that I want, without the fear of saying something anti-mage. Otherwise I need to "discover" the ideal response through saving and reloading, and this method still results in odd tone changes in dialogue, which defeats the purpose of the dominant tone.

Please make the paraphrasing more accurate and detailed. If its meant to mark intent, please tell me the line will be anti-mage in the paraphrase text. Ambiguous aggressive tone "I don't like this" paraphrases that result in Hawke saying something anti-mage made me save my game before every conversation.

Yea that could use some work too.

1. ) Complete control over my PC. No more restriction on personality. No more railroading choice and consequences and no more unnecessary auto-dialogues. Limit the cinematic experience to action only. Never try to portray my character's response and expression through cinematic cut scenes. You never know how my character react. If possible, I would like an emotionless expression character who will change his persona due the events surrounding him and not a happy-go-lucky character who completely and always forget every tragedies happen to him in the past. Either that or point the camera view over my character's shoulder instead of my character's face. I really hate how both Sheppard and Hawke's facial expression in cinematic dialogues cut scenes.

2. ) Variants, customization and flexibility to alter the course of story that would greatly shape various endings. I would like to have different plots and different endings for every different characters I make - which mean you need to make sure there're lot of room for varieties of stories. or simply provide a toolset for me to make my own story or alter the official campaign. I don't like playing by rules and I never play by rules in any RPG. I make my own rules which is why I always make sure my game is always moddable. It would greatly help me to replay and keep the game a lot longer than any other games. I roleplay by creation and building. Take this out from the game and the game is no longer fun and worthless to my investment.

3. ) Morrigan and her son's plot - with my warden or leave them completely out of DA 3.

4. ) Companion interaction. I would like the converse with them anywhere and anytime day and night and please leave at least one normal romanceable companions that would want to settle with with you and not some extremist or religious zealot who only cares for themselves.

- More MP

- less customization and armor choices

- fewer locations

- graphic-style should match the awesome "dawn of the seeker" movie

- less choices

- more ambiguity about the actual plot

- no dragons!

You could add a fixed male protagonist in your list, too. It'll fit very well.

I want my pc's choices during the game to really have an impact on how the game ends. I loved DA2, but the ending was disappointing. I felt I had no influence on it, no matter what I did in the game.

How do you not want dragons, when the game is called Dragon Age?

Oh, sarcasm! Let me give it a try:

- Way to many words in the paraphrasing, i succesfully guessed what the PC was going to say once, not acceptable.

- More auto-dialogue. Seriously, how am i suppose to be able to roleplay if you constantly bother me with dialogue options.

- The codex entry's are to long. Paraphrase it instead like you did the dialogue.

- Forget about Skyrim, think Final fantasy! Spikey hair in awesome colors with weapons the size of the wielder.

Im out.

Mmm...

-A better inventory interface than DA2.
Don't get me wrong, the system was good, but it was the aesthetic of the interface that bothered me, too sleek.
I liked the "old book" feeling of origins. Oh! and Item icons, even for junk, I loved those too, they felt less junky.

-Better paraphrasing like someone said above and, in the same direction, somehow hide the "flirt" options, so the romances do not have that "railroaded" feel of "press heart, obtain romance" while making their paraphrases obvious to avoid ninjamances.
I know, quite contradictory, it's just that with the icon you lose the uncertainty and daring with such a dialogue choice, not knowing if it will get the desired result, and, instead, get the "press blablablah" feeling I said before.

BUT just the flirt options, the common dialogue choices need an icon somehow to describe the intent of the choice, maybe lose the color, but keep the icons there.

-Friendly fire on lower difficulties, so much fun.

-I liked a lot how the squadmates moved around in the normandy in ME3, interacting with it even, make something similar for DA and I willl be a happy panda.

-More achievements would be nice too, difficult ones too obtain that may need several playthroughs.

As for quests, etc...:
-More random battles while travelling, like those groups of bandits, monsters etc, attacking you, not only quest related ones like marjolaine's hired assasins or javaris.

-More Gauntlet type quests, I loved that one to bits, the game needs more puzzles.

-Hidden little quests that you have to pay attention to your surroundings and don't show in the journal, like the spectre authorization ones if you heard enough ambient banter.
I know it wasn't a quest, but I would've loved it if you could give genitivi a blank vellum when he asked for something to write on.

-Show us cities, camps, etc.. full of life, people doing things and not just standing there, the storytelling without telling.

-Details everywhere on locations, I love discovering quaint things in the decorations.
The devil is in the details.

Add multiplayer, I'm all for it as long as it does not negatively affect the SP experience.

For me it's more of a case of asking BioWare to not do certain things rather than do certain things.

This has been discussed to death, so I'll keep it short and sweet.

- Better graphics and art. (especially art)

- No Kirkwall.

- "Another wave!" <------- This **** needs to go.

- No more ugly elves.

- No more fade sequences [unless] the art/graphics are improved.

- No Sunder Mount.

- Companions I can talk to anywhere in the world, ala, Origins and KOTOR.

- No more Princess Bride references [unless] it includes Andre the Giant.

- No more Wounded Coast. (or it's brother, the Healthy Coast)

- Populated cities. (as long as it's not Kirkwall or Kirkwall-related)

- No more Anders or his cat. (which is probably just as annoying as he is)

- Horses and horse combat. If Bethesda can do it in a patch... well, you see what I'm saying.

- No more cartoony characters and/or art style.

- Mini-games like Blackjack and Poker for taverns.

- No Kirkwall. Ever.

Well, the intention was to keep it short and sweet but I just couldn't help myself. I hope some of this (or even just a little of it) is taken into consideration while you fine folks at BioWare are developing your next epic adventure for all of us to dive into.
