The first being the arcane warrior specialization coming back as charging into battle with a flaming greatsword while casting fireballs and cones of flame spells and what not is alot of fun.
The second being the return of sustained AOE damage spells centered on the player as this combines with the arcane warrior incredible well for multiple reasons.
Other important thing but have already been addressed heaps are the levels being more individual even if they are reused a bit aslong as parts aren't copyed and pasted obviously and multiple playable races.
And one last thing that is not important as it would understanbly be very hard to incorperate if it hasn't been already would be a proper conclusion to everything that happened with morrigan (including what happened in the dlc).
Also delays are definitely better then possibly intresting missions or areas being cut (unless they can be added back in later with no large repercussions).

1. Make all side quest interesting & have different outcomes depending on players choice.
2. Don't recycle environments.
3. Give us the player a lot more customize over our pc armor, as well as our companies.
4. Don't implement any filler quest to lengthen the game's playtime. If it's boring, don't use it.
5. More character creation options & features.
6. Reward players who've beaten DAO & DA2 with some sort of importation bonus.
7. Let players explore the world map.
8. Let players decisions have significant impact.
9. Please no auto-dialogue. Let the player define the protagonist.
10. No multiplayer if possible. It will make you look good.
11. Change the art style to look more realistic than cartoony.
12. Let the player choose different races other than human (like in DAO).
13. Let there be areas on the world map where players can battle monsters for extra experience points.
14. Let there be more options regarding dialogue for our protagonist to say.
15. Have players decisions in DAO & DA2 cause a severe contrast in how DA3 plays out.
16. More enemies with different appearances & gameplay traits.
17. More dragon battles with different variety. Example: water dragon, fire dragon, ice dragon, etc.
18. Have romance be more engaging & conflicted. Maybe certain quest are not available if you didn't romance a particular character.
19. Implement a weapon system where players can synthesis 2 weapons to make 1 powerful entity.
20. Rebalance all class, especially the mage class so that it isn't op.
21. Don't rush DA3. Release it when you KNOW it's ready.

It should also be implemented that templars try hunt the protagonist at night if he or she is a blood mage
New skill class under warrior called Hand to Hand combat. You could check out the bagi class in dekaron online for more information on this.
Make Ogres more dangerous. The 1st 5 times I encountered Ogres in DAO my blood froze. When you saw an Ogre you knew that if you were not alert and tactical it would kill your party. I loved that thrill. Please make Ogres, Giantic Demons like the one towards the end of circle quest in DAO and Dragons more dangerous. And it would be great if they reward more exp
One more thing...make it that every once in awhile, that the demons summoned by a blood mage protagonist turns on the protagonist's party and fights against them along side the protagonists current opponents in battle

did you play DAO awakening? 2handed weapon combat there was very goodVilegrim wrote...

swinging twohanders like featherdusters
To be fair, I have always loathed how cumbersome games have made two handed swords. A well crafted, and well balanced two hander is still a surprisingly agile and capable weapon. DA2 did it too fast (especially when factoring in combat balance... the real reason for two handers always being slow), but DAO's was equally absurd in the wrong direction.
In the end, I feel gameplay trumps realism and if slower two handers makes for a superior game, then let them be the anvils that they are
tis true, you can find many videos on youtube of 'rapier vs greatsword/longsword dueling' and the 2h is about as fast as the rapier, (but suffers in enough aspects to make the duel interesting, specifically, reach vs thrust speed) and the German school 2h duels are blisteringly quick. 2h are not anvils, and with half-swording and 'cave the guys skull in with the guard/pommel' moves really versitile, but if you had that amount of sheer killing power in game they would dominate (which they did, on the battlefield, for centuries) long story short: armored guy with a 2h destroys utterly someone with daggers or 1h swords, it's not a fun game that way however.

-Much more meaningful choices, the lack of them in DA2 was incredibly disappointing, discouraging multiple playthroughs. An RPG like this should make want you to replay it.
-More meaningful side quests like DA:O.
-Make the game more like DA:O + XP, I played DA:O with the expansion and all DLC's 9x, I wanted to get a large variety for save imports for DA2. Guess how many times I played DA2? Once...
-Make save imports more worth while.
- Ability to just import DA:O + XP saves into DA3 rather then just DA2 with or without previously used DA:O saves.
-Give us variety in player creation ie. race. I like having my character speak in convo's which is incredibly more expensive having more then 1 per gender but it would be worth it for fans, gives much better replayability. I wouldn't mind having the human, dwarf, elf using the same voice, I just like how a lot of things change in DA:O when playing a different race making a new playthrough more interesting.
-More exploration like DA:O.
-Make your choices have a real impact in the world and on the ending.
-NO MP! sucks in ME3 with all these MP DLC's released rather then more effort in releasing SP DLC's.
-More banter between companions.
-More options in every aspect as well as freedom to approach situations differently.
-No dialogue wheel, return to DA:O style, consoles are to blame, for this and for soooo many other things that are wrong with DA2.
-Mods made me not dislike DA2 as much as I would have without them.
- Listen to what people want.
-This time please do not rush the game, tho EA is more to blame. I didn't mind the story, the writing was up to par but the gameplay, every location (rather, the lack of them), the quests, all was incredibly rushed.
I am a loyal Bioware fan have been for many years, own all the games with all the DLC's not just for DA but all the other franchises as well, make me remember why I am a fan of Bioware with DA3. I don't come onto the forums to bash any of the games, I loved DA:O so much and is really a shame to see what happened to the franchise with the release of DA2.

- Longer main quest line
- Companion quests that may influence the main story
- Companions that get into a relationship with characters in the team or not in the team
- If a character is 'into you' is determined by not just your conversation choices and quest choises, but a mix of the two and possibly PC race and class.
- You can't shag all romancable characters by dumping one and moving oon to another. Some characters should be unromancable for some time or for ever after being in a relationship with a certain NPC or after dumping an NPC in a harsh way.
- If you get to choose your age, characters should have an age limit, so you can't romance a 20 year old when your 80.
- More armored females.
- Get to choose your bg story like in ME and DA:O and have it affect the way people think of you.
- more dragons, i love hating them.
- Have unhealthy relationships or a character that cheats no matter what, because that's his/her character and he/she won't change just because you bedded him/her.
- Characters may dump you.
- not all romances lead to a 'love' scene. That's not why you romance some one. There was no such scene with Garrus and ladies love him.
- Be able to make friends and converse with characters outside of your squad.
- Some characters in DA2 *coughAnderscough* Became way too whiny over the course of the story and hawke could't call them out on it. I wish i could characters out on their behavour.
- More conversation opions. I wanted to be able to tell characters why i refuse to to do something for them, like "If you can't tell me why you need my help, you're not getting my help."
- less black and white morality decisions, more grey.
- In ME3 Characters didn't stay in one place and they actually interacted with eachother, i loved that. If they did that in the camp on DA:O, it would've been awesome.
- more exploration would be nice, not too huge like Skyrim, the size took away from some aspectes, just look at the marriage system and the fact that you can actually walk inside mountains.
- Being able to save during battle. It sucks when you want to quit when suddenly a wild bandit appears.
- Less ove the top battle animations.
- lockpicks, i don't want to take a rogue everywhere. Let me at least open a simple lock without a rogue. Sometimes i wish warriors could smash locks. Maybe if they fail at smashing open the lock, the lock difficulty goes up.
- puzzels
- mini games, not like the bypass ones in ME or lockpicking ones in TES, but more like the bar games in Fable.
- Do more than talk with NPCs. Have brawls or something.
- unlock specialisations. It made them feel special.
- more realistic faces
- I don't care what people say, the elves in DA2 are the best. At least now your can tell they're not just humans with pointy ears.
- less clean looking gore. I just came out of a battle, blood isn't that clean.
- summoning magic. Have demons fight beside you.
-* being a boodmage has more impact on NPC and story interaction. I was so worried when considering bloodmagic and kind of disappointed when i noticed that after becoming a bloodmage, no body cared or even noticed.
- be able to join the templars. Maybe...
- better mage hoods. I'm sorry, but the ones in DA2, looked like Hawke just though a dish towel on his head.
- In DA2 a lot of special robes made a tan hawke's hands white. That should not happen.
- less map recycling. It made quests boring over time. Even if it wasn't backtracking, it sure felt like it.
- Group morale. Based on interactions and choices or how many times you let someone fall in battle.
- More varied creatures, armor, weapons, skills and companions.
- Don't let a character come onto the player like Anders did, unless it's in the personality, like with Zevran. With Anders it was just awkward and seemed out of place with the whole Karl thing that just happened. Too soon, bro.
- Antiva or Orlais. More than just Fereldan or Kirkwall. Then you can see the circle in other places, like Tevinter.
- The menu and inventory like in DA:O was more to my liking that the one in DA2, that one was just too clean.
- more endings.
That's all i have to say. Some of this might be a lot to ask for, especially with every one else's suggestions. I just hope it helps a bit with ideas.
I'm sure you guys will make a good game.

20. Rebalance all class, especially the mage class so that it isn't op.
I wish people would stop thinking of single-player classes in the MMO sense of needing to be balanced and start thinking of them, instead, as another layer of the difficulty setting. Some classes being harder to play as, others being easier to play as, and all of this by design.
Are you a rogue with a couple of daggers or a bow?
Are you a warrior with armor and a sword?
The mage conjuring lightning from the sky should fry you no contest. The mage should flatten these two people for the same reason a Marine with an assault rifle should flatten them.
The biggest challenges for the Mage should be other Mages, Demons, Dragons and the like. The Mage should be powerful at a base and more powerful than a Rogue or Warrior period without question. This should be taken as a difficulty setting by way of class choice and not something that needs to be balanced out as if we're playing an MMO instead of a single player game.
