Incredible hype, and a depressing let down.

My expectation is that it will come with mandatory origin client and consequently I will not be purchasing it for PC (my preferred platform).
I expect that they will reveal more information about the game at some point and, based on that, I may decide whether or not to purchase a copy for console.
If they announce some fairly radical departures from the direction they took with DA2 ( i.e. no more cartoony art style; frenetic, silly combat; limited conversation system; ugly elves; dorky darkspawn, etc) then I'll likely buy it new after the price drops a bit from release. This allows time to get reviews from non-professional-reviewers (in case Bioware pull another DA2) and allows me to withhold the full purchase price as a measure of personal protest against the origin requirement on the pc version.
If I'm really on the fence about whether the game will be worth my time, I might just buy it secondhand.
If they continue to blithely go in the direction DA2 took, or if the user reviews are bad, then I'll save my money and pass on it altogether as I did with ME3.
Bioware games were once a source of joy for me. DAO was the pinacle of my gaming experience to-date. But after ME2 and DA2, Bioware games have lost a lot of their luster for me. I expect I can manage just fine without DA3 if things go the way that I think they're going.
If I can buy it for PC without Origin, or with the ability to opt out of the Origin client data collection, and the game looks like a serious return to the type of look and feel DAO had, then I'll buy it at full price. But I'm not actually expecting there's much likelihood of that to be honest.

Agree. I hope we can at least pick from more than one voice or have a silent option. I so so hope, but i doubt we will.
You'll probably be able to pick between a male voice or a female voice
Talk about variety.

I don`t have high expectations at all. But I got high hopes, though.

I expect the only darkspawn they will change are the emissaries. Because they like to go in the wrong direction.
