my n7 rank is 220 and I sleep great at night. Plus I find my scores tend to be higher than many players who have n7 scores thousands of points higher then mine. I just don't like to promote as much.

We all know this is a game and when the crowd has moved on to the next big game and the servers are empty all of this will disappear. Plus how many of us have ever met, in person, the people we have played with? This is for fun and nice distraction from the real world.

Oh well...

As pointless as people want the n7 rank to be, pointless game is pointless regardless.

N7 is the ONLY ranking this game has and is the only one that matters in any kind of way, people with high n7 shouldn't brag about it because high n7 isn't equal to skill, but people with low n7 have nothing to brag about either.

Soloing is pointless in the spirit of the game, and yet people are praised for it, if high n7 is pointless as well people with it should at least be respected as players for their love for this game knows no limits.

In short respect the guy because even if he isn't as skilled as specter or ashen earth, he sure as hell loves it more than them.

Hmmm .... my N7 level now is just over 1,000. So to top the leaderboards, I need to go up another 19,000 levels or so. Piece of cake.

Just read the OP. I suggest renaming the thread in "I am destroying my reputation right here.." but I don't really care. I am puzzled as to what people post such things.

I love the game more than some of the games I was at the top of the leaderboards of and I am only like rank 5000 something in this game. Does that mean I like it less?....

No it means I go to college now and don't have time to sit and play for nearly as long as I used to.

The best way to put it is that the number means everything and nothing. I have no doubt that some of you are better then me. But at the same time I want to be able say I'm number 1 in the worlds at a meaningless game in a meaningless ranking system.

When you were never number 1 at anything it can mean quite a lot, and when ppl try to convince you that you got there falsely it doesn't feel good.

I've chased scores and ranks in other games and found that when you get close to the top, it gets ugly. You can make real friends in this game, and you can have real fun. It might be tough, OP, but try to think about the reasons you enjoy this game and stop sweating the rough stuff.

I respect people for their human value, for their politeness, for how they respect others when they play, if they play as team players

however, i don't see how your skills or E-Peen N7 score deserve any repect.


You can have the biggest dick around, if you are a jerk you don't deserve respect.

I don't know OP at all, i don't know ashen or specter either, i don't have any opinion on them or their behavior, but i certainly won't give them more respec, than the basic respect i give everyone because one is at the top of the leaderboard, or because the others has legendary skills.

What will make me respect them is their behavior toward other players in game, not the size of their "member" or their "reputation".

I need to experience playing with people, or talking with people before giving them more respect than basic, and i don't expect them to respect me more before hand.

Reputation is overrated, experience is the true ****.

Huh? It is all about the game.

He wanted to climb to the #1 spot. If  that is his thing then let him do it. He shouldn't allow himself to get bullied into submission by the current #1 and his friends.

Most of us are here because we are overly obsessed with maxing our manifest, and there are PLENTY of QQ threads about the store. What makes that any more meaningful than the OP obsessing about being the #1 player in the world?

So why did you make this thread? From all your replies all I'm seeing is someone that wanted sympathy but came in the wrong place because 99% of the people here don't give a damn about others' problems.

If you already think that your reputation is "forever destroyed" (I'd love to open a parenthesis on this stating over and over again that this is a GAME and being so attached to reputation is childish and immature) why making a thread on a forum,nay, THIS forum?

There is no "issue" here, just someone getting emo about a piece of entertainment.  If he (and you) think that's worthy of serious discussion, then go right ahead.

Nothing wrong with spending some $ on a game you like. I have personally spent I think around an extra $120 US when I was a Silver level player as I wanted to get the new stuff at the time and I didnt have the skillset at the time to do speed runs and handle higher levels.

Its cool you guys have 20K worth of N7 and all, but honestly this isn't battlefield/CoD, you aren't going to be put in any magazine or win any awards besides a "pat on the back" post from BW.

20K N7 will honestly only get you into any match you ever want to play with whoever at w/e level you wanna play it at. Enjoy it from that standpoint. Not being rude, but honest.
