I just decided I want to be the #1 ranked player, in the entier world, for Wing Commander 1,2 and 3. Anyone know how I can do this? Then I want to tackle Mech Warrior 1 and maybe Homeworld. This thread has energized me.

You might think so, but just the other day, I was in the park with my kids, and I overheard an elderly gentleman pushing his grandson on a swing.  He talked to him about how life was in his day: about war, famine, the achievements he has completed, his first Platinum solo, and the highest N7 rank he obtained and where that put him on the leaderboard.  His grandchild sure did look proud.

After the kid got off the swing, he asked to hear one more story about the Shepard.  It was getting late, but Grandpa did promise just one more story.

I wish I could have followed to listen in.  He was quite charming, and I have to admit I was a little impressed by his N7, his manifest, and all his other stories.

I called my Grandma that afternoon and told her I loved her.

Some people seem shocked by this.

I assume you don't play any other games 'competitively'. This kind of drama always takes place. Quite sad, but it will never change.

why do people care about being the top N7?
I mean its a game and all, i uderstand a sense of self achievement but all N7 means is you play alot, buy alot of recruit packs and promote alot. Its not any measure of skill or how good you are at a game. anyone between 120-20k N7 could have the same amount of game hours logged. N7 rating means nothing at all.

It's kind of sad that people send you "no lifer" messages every day, but it's also kind of sad that there's this much drama about something as trivial a leaderboard rank. Who knew that N7 rank was such srs bsns?

I have read all the pages and i can input the only summarize that i can see that would be understanding to your outburst that i compared it to that of child that just got told that he wasnt getting what he wanted from his parents...

You sem to cry on about how you 20k n7 rank means the world to you and that you think that coming on the boards of the BSN mp boards, mind you, this is not post to bash you for all intent this is to show you that you are placing a number above all things you accomplished thru whatever means necessary to win..

you have supported missile glitching in other threads about it and shows on some levels that you might actually have done it and not gotten caught and or you have a friend{s} that did it and played with him in private games to get the high numbers that you are now crying about as some reputation that you might have earned due this rep on fair grounds who knows, who cares but the fact remains you are crying about somethings that you think is vastly important to state that you rep is destroyed, when to us and people that follow the leader boards to some extent..

WHO CARES that you think something unfair that or maybe not have happened to you{ remember i have read all the pages up till i commented and wont go off to show all the inane attempts to show people that you only care about being on top there are far more things to proud of your attempts and what not.. that's good, we don't care if you became king of the damn internet and made everything on the internet show only your games...

you seem  to be a person that doesn't like reality of life as you said that you prefer the fantasy of the games compared to the fantasy that real life can bring to you thru hardships and exploration of what you are capable and what you can do with yourself, but you seem to say i dont care and only care that i can spend my life playing a game that doesnt give you anything in real life except pasty white skin and maybe if you have dont go out and go for a walk ride a bike and or get exercise to the extent of you body can do..{ as you can tell i am including that you if might have life altering problem like loss of limbs and anything that could prevent you from doing things that would considered limited mobility}

you can in fact do things, i am betting that you do not even want to do thing in real life that could in fact enrich your life to some extent,but since i don't know you..

i wont say you are not doing what you are capable off and presume that you are just person that cant cop with things that have seen as being to hard on you and seek to escape real life thru gaming...
