Ok I am having troubles trying to figure outhow to select group with my mouse and it says mouse button 4... Well my mouse only has 3 things on it, left click, right click, and the roller in middle so what is mouse button 4???... Also seen that to select group you left click on group and surround the members you want in the group, and when I try to do that my mouse acts like a camera... Am I doing it wrong or do I need a different mouse or what???... If someone could help me with this it would greatly be appreciated.... Thanks

there are a couple ways to do it

go to Options
tabs: Exploration & Strategy, check box to Marquee selection w/ left mouse drag

or

tab Keymapping: under Misc. select the hotkeys you want for (a) auto group selection, ( hold key and select w/ mouse
