Seriously Halo the Flood was so boring, there was no detail, it just felt like I was reading a strategy guide on what occured in the game. Dietz literally put 0 of his own storytelling and perspective into it, maybe for the best. Considering what he did to Deception .

if only they used Retribution and stuck with their Concept idea for his Cerberus Squad

According to the book (Retribution) it was a possibility due to the damage suffered.

Yeh, wasn't it point blank shotgun blasts? Really though, this whole let him live thing was stupid. Anderson had his chance, and everyone who dies after that to Lengs hands is on Andersons head. I am so tired of the hero trope of..........I can't kill him, I'd be not better than him or whatever fool idea was going through Andersons head. Been a while since i read that book.

might have been cool if vega started off as one of kai lengs henchmen and he joined shepard because he thought leng was a fart gobbler like everyone else thinks.

It was with a pistol, and Anderson preferred he be taken alive due to the huge amount of intel he'd have on Cerberus and TIM. Leng told him repeatedly he had no beef with no one outside of reaper Grayson, and Anderson also knew that Cerberus was doing something to fight the reapers aside from their experiment with Shepard. But you know, Deception: The Game decided that TIM and Ceberus were morons who didn't know any better about reaper tech, and that they could use their Galactic Empire to stop the reapers themselves.
