I was able to meet Karissa at Dragon*Con along with many other ME3 & DA Cosplayers. She is especially awesome and I thank her greatly for starting this project. I recommend more people visit her link, like the page and get involved. :)

YAY Chris!!  YOU are especially awesome, my friend! :)  Thank you!!!

hot_heart, iSousek - Thank you both!! :)

Theobeau - We're already making her armor for her. ;) And thank you!! Keep an eye on us and spread the word! And thank you for even considering donating - we definitely need it!

Doveberry - RIGHT? :D I hope you can make it!!

Toby Flenderson (nice name, by the way) -- Steve Blum said he's in for Grunt. :) I've got someone on his headpiece and someone on his armor! Hopefully all the scheduling works out!

Big Ben -- The Joker and EDI post-synthesis family cosplay was Preston and his wife Jennifer. Trust me, I'm friends with them. ;) Mike Capps was down in the video game track room with *his* wife, since they were running that whole shindig. The Joker in the suit... gah, I'm completely blanking on his name right now, but he was posing with Grace in her EDI cosplay (which was featured on Kotaku). Trust me, I wouldn't lie to ya! :) If you're referring to help retrieving my purse as in I asked someone if they were able to pick it up off the floor for me since I couldn't bend over that far in my fatigues right after the Meet BioWare panel, then yes, that was me. LOL.

To help, I'm the femShep in this picture with Raphael Sbarge:

You sure about that? I swear to god the guy introduced himself as Mike Capps (although I distinctly remember him saying he was the president of Epic).  Maybe I was hallucinating due to three straight days of three hours of sleep.  I don't know.  Either way, I met someone from Epic and it was cool...Image IPB

But yeah...you asked me to pick up your bag.  Crazy...f*ckin' crazy this world sometimes.

I am a thousand times positive. :) LOL.  Preston is actually working with me on the groundwork for the MECC! :)  There's a slight chance he said that and was joking, but I promise, Mike was over at the Hilton at the time.  Either way. :)

So you sat next to me during the panel!  Rockin!  You're awesome!  Are you in the N7 Elite group at all?  Thanks again for picking up my purse for me!  I've already gotten the stuff to fix the straps on the knees so they aren't so restricting. Ugh.

Anyway, thread hijack

Keep sharing the page and encouraging people to donate!  We've gotten several donations thus far, but we still have a long way to go before we're fully funded, and I'd like us to be able to help the participating actors donate a good chunk of money to the charity of their choosing.  Keep it up, N7! :)

I'll take your word for it as I honestly can't remember the exact conversation...we'll just call it space magic and be done with it.

I actually didn't sit next to you.  I ended up being late because of a previous panel and had to stand off to the side in the back for the whole panel.  Not a big deal, but I prefer to be awesome so yes I did in fact sit next to you. Image IPB

And you're quite welcome; anything for FemShep.Image IPB

No.  I have no idea what the N7 Elite group is or what it does.  Feel free to explicate.  It sounds like something in which I'd be interested.

Sounds like a good idea. If you manage to get Martin Sheen to do it, however, I'll (attempt to) eat a hat, or possibly die from a heart attack induced by an overload of awesome.

Oh man whatever convention or whatnot they will be at I so want to be there! Getting a picture with Hale and Keener as FemShep and Garrus would be a total fangasm!

I knew that most (if not all) of the cast was awesome, but to do this, they rock so much. What great people!

Heheheh... I made a unintentional rhyme.

We are trying to get in contact with DC Douglas to see if he's interested in participating -- we also have a costumer who's quite adept with Legion costuming :)

*GASP!*

I would love to see some Legion costumes!

Do you have any pics?

Saw Brandon Keener expressed his approval of this on Facebook =D Whether or not he'll do any actual cosplay is uncertain, but it's cool to see the voice actors digging this initiative!

Melancholic - this has actually been brought up several times (taking the Initiative abroad), which is one of the things I would LOVE to do after we've been established in the States/Canada! It all depends on funding and schedules, though, so keep an eye on the page and encourage people to donate if they can! :)

Asch Lavigne - RIGHT? Total fangirl right here too! I think I might cry a little when they're all together. :) I hope you can make it! And you're absolutely right - we Mass Effect fans are so incredibly lucky to have such an awesome voice/model cast in this amazing franchise!

Drummernate - I am 99% sure that the BioWare Pinterest page has some pictures of the guy (Dillon) in the Legion suit. There's also a video of him playing M4 (Part II) somewhere on YouTube, but I can't seem to find it right at the moment... I'll look and get back to you.

VakarianWilliamsN7 - I SAW AND FANGIRLED APPROPRIATELY. :D Also responded to him, so hopefully he'll be able to get back to me about working something out! :)

We're four "likes" away from 800 on the Facebook page - would be AWESOME to get 900 by Saturday! Spread the word! Brandon Keener spoke with us on his Facebook page a couple days ago and we're working to get something worked out with him. The more fans are on board, the more actors we can get on board as well!!

Demonique - we're not sure yet, but I personally think either PAX East, SDCC, or Dragon*Con will be our best bets as those tend to fall within people's schedules a little better. We don't know yet though, so keep an eye out! We're considering all conventions!

VakarianWilliamsN7 - I'm hoping we reach 900 by tomorrow! Looking likely! :D 1000 by October 1st shouldn't be too hard, right? (right???)

Big news of the day is that we've officially raised $1000 so far for the MECC!!! YAY!!!! We still have a long ways to go though, so keep those donations coming!! :)

But I can't share it until the Facebook page hits 1,000 likes!!!

So do me a favor and share it with everybody you know, because I think my head might explode if I keep it to myself too much longer!! :D

I'm hoping for PAX (friends in Boston who got me into ME to begin with, yay). Dragon*Con would be difficult, but maybe not impossible, but I've had to give up on ever going to SDCC. Being poor and on the East Coast assured that. @_@

korihime - I completely understand there. SDCC is a slim chance, because so many of the actors have been unable to go in the past and it's difficult to nail down space during SDCC for an event such as this. We're not ruling it out, though. I'm really wishing there was a comic-con in St. Louis, though, let me tell ya! :)
