I would jump for joy if I saw the face models cosplaying as their characters. Rana McAnear as Samara was good, but it's impossible to get the hair tentacles just right. But imagine Mark Vanderloo as MaleShep or Yvonne Strahovski as Miranda!

I think it's terrific that you're putting in the effort for this - now if only I lived in the US and could be there to see it all pay off :-) but I'm sure there'll be a recording that I can watch over here!
It's pretty great that so many of the cast are already showing interest in this, seeing as there's (seemingly) little in it for them. Always warms my heart when someone is passionate about their jobs instead of just doing it for the money. Then again, it must be sort of rewarding to have people like us all over the world cheering for them :-P
Keep up the good work!

lindtchoco - ME TOO!

Doofe2012 - I have nothing but love for Rana - seeing the whole get-up in person really makes it look all the more realistic. Some things just don't transfer on film! We would love to get everyone on board if we could!
Ajensis - Thank you!!
There may well be a recording, just you wait. Perhaps a *live* recording?
I'm hoping to make this as fun as possible for everyone involved, so hopefully the actors won't feel like they're getting nothing out of it. I do imagine the love they get from us means at least a little something, and all the actors I've met over the years really do appreciate the support, I think more than they can express sometimes.
Warms the heart. I will indeed be keeping it up - thank you so much!!

Question to all:
Which ME voice actor do you want to see join this project the most (that han't joined already)?
Mine: Ali Hillis (Liara). I met her at PAX, she's a really chill, nice, and beautiful woman. I think her and Rana could make one deadly biotic team.
Runner-ups:
Brandon Keener (Garrus) - It's Garrus... 'nuff said.
Robin Sachs (Zaeed) - Criminally underused character, & Robin actually looks a little like him!
Keep up the word spreading!

Grant - you're awesome, man!
Theobeau - She is indeed! We're already making her armor.
Do bear in mind, however, that the actors' schedules can change last minute and prevent attendance. As of this moment, she is clear to attend.
Ninjapino - Not sure, but I've seen some convincing arguments for a couple models/actresses!
RebelTitan428 - Why would that be funny? We may or may not be talking to her now... I shall neither confirm nor deny.

Hi KarissaEB,
That's really great news; expect a pledge in the near future.
Best of luck with this!

Because she's one of the most disliked (even hated by some) characters in Mass Effect 3 and viewed to be completely useless (having likely taken production time from something more important) and relatively annoying. Or at least that's how it seems having read some of the threads on these forums. So it'd be somewhat humorous if she ever agreed to do something like this given the widespread dislike of her character.
I'd imagine that's to what RebelTitan may have been referring...could be wrong though.
In fact...social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/323/index/14141175

Jessica Chobot as Allers in the cosplay initiative?
I can't see that being a good idea, she belittled ME fans on her blog and ended up having to quit, she could be setting herself up for a lot of abuse if she turned up at a con as Allers

I'm about to get on a little bit of a soapbox, so bear with me, and know that what I'm about to say, I say with the utmost respect of the opinions of others:
I would sincerely hope that, if she *did* turn up to support the project, that people would be respectful. These people are giving of their time for us. If she did in fact belittle ME fans (I have no idea where this is), then perhaps her participation is a form of trying to make it up to them. Also, the MECC is partly for charity. I will have to insist that any of the talent, regardless of what anybody feels about their character, will be treated with respect for giving of their time and themselves for the fans and whatever charity is chosen.
I didn't particularly enjoy the character of Diana Allers either, but Jessica contacted me saying she'd like to support the project (nothing is confirmed as of now, considering her personal situation - she may just support it from the sidelines rather than actually appearing), and anybody that contacts me before I contact them has nothing but respect from me. Say what you want about Allers, but against Jessica? I'm sorry, but I won't have it.
But on from that. We're still collecting donations and needing the word spread to get more of the actors on board, so let's do this!

Also -- Jessica has no desire to wear the Allers outfit. We'd possibly put her in something more akin to Wong/Al Jilani, if she decides she does want to support the project in the cosplay aspect.

So who's signed up so far?
And have Brandon Keener or Ash Sroka mention anything about joining?

So far, we've got Jennifer Hale, Mark Meer, Rana McAnear, Raphael Sbarge, Kimberly Brooks, Courtenay Taylor, Steve Blum, and Keythe Farley. Brandon has mentioned his interest on his Facebook page, but we are still waiting to hear from him. So far still waiting to hear from Ash. Not to worry - as soon as we hear definite yes's from people, we will let you all know!
