Ok so I see a lot of people seem to be making mods of sorts, but I am unfamiliar with how to use them with this game. If someone makes like a set of daggers or armor I like, how do I get them to my character? I had no issue being able to do all this with NWN, but I have zero clue as to how to do this with Dragon Age.

There are generally two methods, depending on how the mod is packaged.

If the readme has no special instructions, it's generally safe to assume the following.



If it comes in a .dazip file:

- Navigate to the "bin_ship" folder, under you Dragon Age installation directory.

- Start the program "daupdater.exe".

- Drag & drop the .dazip file into the lower section of daupdater.

- Select the mod on the list, then press "Install Selected"



If it comes as a zipped collection of loose files:

- Extract to your "Documents\\BioWare\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override\\" folder.



There is also a program available that handles the installation, and allows for easy uninstallation of mods, called DAModder. I've not used it so I won't go into that.

Thanks, so now my next question. Is there somewhere to find all these mods? Seems like there is no one place to look through them all, just within various threads that have links to other threads, lol
