So I'm a ball of stress right now because I may have wasted an entire afternoon.

I downloaded the Extended Cut. I checked this before I started playing; it's checked off on my list of downloads.

I'd beaten the game with this Shepard previously, but wanted to do it with the EC now. Thus, forewarned by a friend, I chose a save that was made before I attacked the Illusive Man's base, and played through more or less merrily.

Now I got past the rush-to-the-beam segment, and am now aboard the Citadel... but I didn't get the scene a friend told me about, where you see your squadmates either blasted or evacuated by the Reapers.

Are my fears true, and the Extended Cut isn't functioning? What can I do? How do I get it working? Will I have to replay the whole thing from Cronos Station onwards again? (say it aint so; never have I come so close to breaking a controller over how many times I've had to replay sections of London- I can't fathom how I'll handle them on Insanity! I was literally ready to scream at some points).

Any help is warmly appreciated.

 Try re-downloading it.  I know its a big file but sometimes even if its checked, it might not have finished.
And when you attempt re-downloading it, don't do anything else on your 360 especially anything ME3...just let it download. Then boot it up.
