 Below are my system specs.
Intel Core i7 3930K 3.6 GHz 6-core
Asus AMD Radeon 7970 3GB
32 GB of DDR3 RAM

I hit Ctrl+Alt-Del after it freezes, to switch to the Task Manager and I see these two error messages.

Then the game crashes.

Any Ideas?

If you are on Windows 7 or Vista and running as a non-admin user:
- Log in using an account with Administrator privileges (do not run the game "as Administrator" - that will not work)
- Run the Mass Effect game until you get past the splash screen
- Exit the game
- Log in with a normal user account.

You should be able to start the game now

There is almost no one here. It is off-season, and the game is VERY old. You may as well break down and help yourself far enough to provide the information outlined in the sticky.

It's from Steam? Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the game?
