So, I just found out something interesting (and broken).   Multiple sources of accuracy boosts stack additively.  That means smart choke level V (50% accuracy) + marksman (50% accuracy)  = +100% accuracy = 100% less spread = 0 spread.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, with marksman you can turn the AT-12 Raider into a perfectly accurate sniper rifle that ignores shield gate.

That concludes this public service announcement!

One of the many reasons why Marksman is my favorite BP :)

This is also one of the reasons shotguns are currently dominant in MP. One of the main advantages snipers are supposed to have over shotguns is their effective range, but when you can combine the smart choke with bonuses from powers, whether its Marksman, Hunter Mode, or Devastator Mode, shotguns essentially become sniper rifles that ignore shield-gate.

Shocking, nobody knew!

I think everyone knew that shotguns w. marksman were super strong in MP, but I don't think anyone realized the way that multiple accuracy buffs stacked (or if they did, I didn't see it posted anywhere).

This doesn't just apply to shotguns btw, shotguns are just the most prominent example since smart choke gives you the largest bonus to accuracy.

Havent really played MP in a while now (apart from 2 bronze games to get the squad goal on the weekend), might give that Piranha Turian a go if I ever come back

I saw a video of a Turian soldier using the Claymore a while back demonstrating this.

But yes, I don't think anyone reverse engineered the math.
