Uh.. Hey, guys.

First time poster.

Anywhoozles. So I just got ME3 yesterday and after waging a massive battle with installing it, (lots of disc read errors and such) I finally got it installed. As a happy panda I went to play it and... it froze right at the point where you leave the room with James at the very beginning.
I've tried everything I could think of, from driver updates to getting the correct DX etc. and now I'm at a complete loss.
It freezes to become completely unresponsive but I can still hear the walking sounds after the freeze as well as the music which stops after a short while. The only sounds that play after that are the ambient crowds and I have to force quit it from the task manager.

I had a similar issue with ME2 back when I got it some two years ago and that was easily resolved with getting the latest patch. However, because of Origin I've obviously got the latest patch.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm simply dying to play and now I can't.
