Aww....sensitive are we? Lol don't worry, your report won't do anything. He's not gonna get banned or anything. Especially since you simply did it because he has a different opinion than you. Nice try though.

actually I did it because his comment was there simply to incite, as well as the OP expressly stating that pro-enders were not welcome on this thread.  You have your threads, we have ours.  Also he used the derogitory term "haters" which I take offence to.  I love this series, otherwise I would not still be here.

I could endure the ****ty beggining.

I could endure the nonsensical Citadel Coup d' Etat.

Hell, I could even endure the fetch quests instead of actual gameplay.

But, after Kai Leng's fight, I gave up.

The experience was ruined for me even before the ending, because there I realized they couldn't wrap things up with so little time.

What they did is like wrapping a Giant Panda with its own intestines.

Sorry, but this part is joke. I'm here from the releasing day and there wasn't even one pro-ender thread which wasn't attacked and mostly totally destroyed by anti-enders. And terms, that they used, were sometimes much, much worse then haters.

I don't care what the OP specifically said. Nor does it matter. I've seen countless threads that were created in Appreciation of the Endings(some were my own), where at the drop of a dime, "haters" flooded the thread just to bash the people that were appreciating it. (Oh, and I say 'haters' because that's what they do. They bash and hate on whoever and whatever doesnt agree with or share their personal opinion. So I find the term 'haters' quite fitting)

There's no rules stating you can't comment on whatever thread you like, regardless of who its directed towards. As evidenced by the countless Appreciation threads that get drowned out and flooded with hate from the very moment they're posted. If you could get banned for commenting on threads that aren't sympathetic to your feelings, then there would be a lot of people banned right now(there might not even be a BSN if that were the case)

Yes, this would have made me happy.  Very happy.  Bioware hates me though and they don't respect their fans.

No they shouldn't minimize the Reaper threat, no conventional victory shouldn't be possible.

Edit: Also I would like to add how much I hated the fact that Bioware gave people a glimpse of hope of conventional victory through destroying the reaper on Tutchanka, rannoch and earth. Those were destroyers. 160 metre's tall. Had you been up against a capital class reaper (2km tall) you wouldn't stand a chance. And they make up for the bulk of the Reaper fleet.

Conventional victory would've been bad ass and would've also gone a long way to explain why you needed war assets.

I don't think that conventional victory could have worked, what exactly makes this cycle any better at defeating the Reapers conventially than the hundreds of cycles that came before us?

-Thanix Weapons

-Reapers don't control the relays, thus they are stretched thin. (This is their biggest advantage)

-Reapers had to travel thousands of light years to get here. (If Arrival meant anything, this should have weakened them)

-Various Reaper tech.

-Infometric Arrays (Give us the exact location of every Reaper in the galaxy at all times)

And let's not forget the Leviathans that can destroy the Capital Ships in one shot with their magic spheres.  Bioware just shot themselves in the foot if they are trying to get across the point that conventional victory isn't possible.

I don't remember when or were but I thought I heard that all these MP OPS were gonna tie in to the SP and change the endings. Ill look it up when I get a chance but I'm on a smart phone and linking is hard. Hopefully a conventional victory will be posable then. Didn't say that after a key is sent out they would change endings, just no new DLC endings.......

I don't mind that the reapers cannot be defeated conventionally, nor was I bothered when the game didn't include such an option. I do mind however when new antagonists are introduced in the last 10 minutes.

You may fix that with playing Leviathan at the beginning of the game :D

Now, if you'd have just left that whole exchange to tongue-in-cheek I would have been happy to poke my head in, remind you that, by virtue of human nature, demanding a certain group of people stay out of a thread on a public forum basically INVITES them in and then leave.

But you are now turning this into a "principle of the thing" thing.

Let it lie.

...But the great thing about Mass Effect is that it isn't conventional. A conventional ending would've felt like a let-down. And, if there had been less Reapers, then it wouldn't have felt as...scary, I guess is the closest I can come to describing it. ME3 wouldn't have been as enjoyable for me if I didn't feel like I was probably going to lose.

Oh thank god.
Anyway, on topic, I think the Citadel being a trap (as I've heard in conversation and in many other threads) and it being necessary to turn to conventional victory or using the Crucible and losing would be an awesome ending. Then I think the whole "Crucible coming out of nowhere" thing wouldn't have been an as popular con.
