I totally liked Liara's homeworld comic. Honestly, we were part of Cerebus in ME2. I would think Kelly would spill the beans on every location we went to her boss TIM. After all, wasn't she the rat?

Kelly is dead when I play LOTSB.

Anyway, Jesus... The SB ship getting bugged is a massive facepalmer. I love Liara, but the criticism behind her being an idiot SB become more and more true.

it's written by mac walters so I didnt buy it.  but i still managed to read it :-)

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT! DONT READ BELOW THIS IF YOU DONT WANT SPOILERS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

okay, so basically its liara going on a chase for information on a prothean weapon against the reapers

thats the hole plot in a nutshell. so yepp, more retroactive foreshadowing of the crusible

now im bias ofc since i detest the endings nomatter what side of EC they are on.

but here's somethings i learned in mass effect : homeworlds 4.

1. TIM apparantly has surveilance equipment in the shadowbroker lair
and can both see and hear EVERYTHING liara does there, including intercept coms.

2. mac walters still love the crusible and catalyst and still thinks its a good idea to
to a story about the crusible in this comic despise the controversy.

3. One Phantom can easally undetected trawel to the hanarhome world and penetrate
a heavally guarded underwater facility and kill dozens of drell assassins protecting said facility.

oh, and nothing really happends in this comic that means anything.

1) Doesnt bother me as much as after all it was Cerberus who found leads on the shadowbroker in LOTSB in any case as well as information on Feron, Etc.

2) yes because he should totally come out and say its horrible when its, well, ALREADY done and in the game and aint going anywhere, right?  Just like Drew should come out and say that ME1 and 2 were horrible mistakes as well right?

3) No more silly than the other stuff that goes on in the books/games (even ones written by Drew).

As for nothing that really happens, most of the homeworlds stuff I've seen is just backstory and filler really, not necessary to the plot, but more expanding on the companiosn past.

Of all the Homeworld comics #4 was by far the lightest in story and could have been so much better.

I love liara too, but it is strange she is very intelligent when it come to anything about protheans and being an information broker yet as the SB, just wow. Image IPB

Must post again:

http://1-2knockout.t...e8dec28a4-800wi

Now the Shadow Broker's lair is bugged and was bugged before Liara got there, otherwise how did the puny terrorist operation know where it was? And wait! It's not over! All the leaks are now coming from the Normandy because the Alliance military was too stupid to go over it for bugs, and the Alliance Military is infiltrated with Cerberus spies who followed the scrubbing team and put new bugs in. The Normandy is bugged from Liara's office. OMFG. Of course. It's Miranda's old office. It's a former Cerberus vessel. There are bugs everywhere. Even EDI is sending classified information to The Illusive Man via a very low level subroutine that she isn't even aware of.

This is how The Illusive Man always stays one step ahead of them, and this is why Liara is a fail at being the Shadow Broker, although at this point, I think that "title" is in name only -- information broker is more apt. It's not because she's bad at being an information broker. It's because of all the bugs. All her comms go through EDI and thus directly to TIM. Surprise surprise.

Now who said this 5 months ago? Come on.... who said it? I'll give you a guess.... You can say it. Shotgun Julia was .... right. It's okay you can admit it.

So Mac is ripping off my idea. Hmmm.....

It's not a retcon if they stuck with what they planned from the beginning.

i see this alot, and i think its foolish to even say.

at what point is "the begining?"

are you saying they totally planned ME3 to be the most WTF game ever?

off topic: plz leave reallife tragic events out of this. dont want or need a lockdown :/
back to topic: i rather hear your thoughts about the hole plot in Homeworld no4?

Edit: I also thought the "drawing" was.. how to put it

I think the face of the characters look more dark and gritty in the way they wee drawn
meening that liara didnt look like liara's ussuall face expressions
but im on the fence as to if i thought is was better or worse.
any thoughts on that? those that have read it...
