So there we go, another attack Mac thread, been to long since we had one.

I don't think BSN is able to objectively critiscize something without attacking personallly, this is probably one of the most unpleasent fanbases. Well, good to know.

Maybe you don't understand how dissapointed most of the fan base is. And if people aren't happy its mainly because they care for the series and are sick of its credibility being pushed further into the mud.

so we what, attack people, call them "hacks". I don't care if some people throw a hissy fit, mac doesn't deserve half the **** that gets thrown at him. It's credibility is not being pushed "further" into the mud, it was never in the mud in the first place.

You have right, he should share it with his pal Hudson together because it was their choice, they left rest of the team in front of door till they have finished their masterpiece.

I don't see the issue. TIM got his hands on some badass tech and after the collectors were gone he set his sights on the shadow broker. Not completely inconceiveable that he intercepted some nav points or info from when shep helped liara

And I see no issue with a phantom taking out a dozen drell if they're taken out separately. Not every drell is going to be thane. In fact, thane is probably in the top 1% and even he was killed. Yeah he was sick but kai leng couldn't use 1v1 strategy with 3 people behind thane waiting to shoot so if they went 1v1, kai leng would still win. The phantoms just have too much tech

Rewrite of ending of KL/Thane fight:

Thane: He should be embarrassed. He was bested by a dying man.

Shepard: Bested? Look at you? Thane you idiot! You had him! Why didn't you just shoot him? You know goddamned well that kinetic barriers don't work in cutscenes. Cerberus would have bugged out. Now I've gotta chase his goddamned ass all over the place.

Thane: It wouldn't have been honorable. He was using a sword. It had to be a duel.

Shepard: You and your ****ing honor. 'Bailey we need a medevac at my location immediately. Thane is critically wounded.'" Good luck, Thane. Next time just shoot the ****er."

Why did they make a drell that looks like Feron, almost IDENTICALLY like Feron, and have it be some other guy? Was it supposed to be Feron and then they forgot about him? Then there was just so much wandering around. We learn nothing about Liara's backstory, except maybe a single panel where we talk to her old teacher. We don't even learn much about the crucible.

Because Feron can potentially be dead at this point, he is if the player did not do LOTSB.

And while I have not read the comic, I will go out and guess that this new drell guy also has a stupid leather jackett like the rest of the drell.

Kinda Liara in entire trilogy.

So much pointed to be important character, but in the end she is not and just forced on us.

Needed her to find Ilos... and the crucible plans...

How did she find the Crucible plans, anyway? Did she just arrive on Mars, point at a random hill and say "Let's look over there"?

well in the comic....
liara is talking to hacket about the prothians mabey having some weapon against the reapers.
she goes to the prothean archive on thessia and

we see her lookin at schematics of the crusible on a montior in the archives on thessia
they are incomplete so the agent that snuck her into the archives suggestion to go to
one of the prothean archives that aparantly are the size of cities.
there she find encryptionkeys to older archives,
3 of them to be exact and one of those archives is the one on mars

i highlighed this as i have something to add against your argument for this beeing possible.

first picture we get to see inside the *edit: spacestation underwater base: when liara and her drell "tourguide" goes inside is..

a big room or corridor( its huge either way) with atleast 12 drell dead on the floor
and you see literally 2 piles of dead drell ontop of each other in that room aswell.

Hmm, well I guess you really need to put the game in context. Its sci-fi done in a 'realistic' manner. Its not war drama non-fiction. My shep's body count is easily in the 10,000s, so I'm ok with an elite phantom pwning 1 dozen guards at a time. Especially such an elite enemy who uses reaper tech.

When you keep it in context, you just realize that phantoms are badasses that only look average next to Shep.

Not as bad as it sounds here in my opinion.
It's a tie-in between Lair of the Shadow Broker and ME3. The catchphrase "Last hope for the galaxy" actually describes it well lol.
The bug? Could be many things, including a hack done by distance, not necessarily something physical that got there in the room. It hurts that they didn't bother to explain it better.
The phantom vs drell...yeah...other thing that could be better. I don't think those drells weren't assassins, but security guards. Not every drell is a goddamn assassin lol, Feron isn't and Quoyle too. She made a too big killing spree for one phantom though, if it were a squad...
The confrontation between Liara and TIM is cool. TIM brings up that Liara isn't a very good SB, if not very good, not a much careful one. Liara plays well but TIM>>>>Liara.
It had big flaws but it was an enjoyable read. Yes, it was good that they covered more the foundation of the Crucible because 1- leaves the impression of the deus ex machina 2 - not everyone has a brain to fill in some holes. It shows Liara played an even bigger role on the discovery of the blueprint than it was thought before the mission on Mars covering up for what Liara said about bringing the Broker's resources in the fight against the reapers. She deserves a hell of a credit for the existence of that small chance of winning the war.

This issue should have come before the game.

First, you know that Liara get information about SB Base from Cerberus itself?

Of Course she already being watched by TIM

i think some of you really read the Comic especially about Liara and Play ME2 LOTSB before OP asking the first question.

Really it's not surprise  that Liara already getting sloppy twice.
First in Kahje, Second in Mars

Liara really not a really good SB

Seeing crap like this make me regret that i ever said that if something is broke, then don't remove it but make it better instead, about the Mako removal from ME1 to ME2. I can still feel the pain in my brain when hackett straight out says "She's uncovered some sort of weapon ... (STUTTERS) ...only way to stop them" and it's just right out of the gate, right after the friggin prologue.
