My friends and I actually assumed that they had *bumped up the chances* since we had so many. Quite the opposite experience from what you guys are remembering.

First 12 round played with only 3 escort missions.
Seriously, you gave us an objective but no tools, might as well go in and face reapers on gold with no powers and weapons.

Felt the same way. Thought it was just paranoia for a while lol.blaaaaaaaaaarg wrote...
Can't say I'm surprised. I usually get way too many escort missions, but they were oddly rare this weekend.

I'm shocked that many escorts even spawned. I didn't get any to come up.
Seriously this.
I never understood basing the outcome of an operation on an event the player has little control over happening. If they were going to do that, they should have made every mission escorts. Otherwise they were essentially conducting a test on how many games were played. And as the failure suggests, less people are playing.

Soldiers of the Milky Way –
As mentioned in previous communications, we’ve seen a number of reports describing unusual enemy activity. Operation VIGILANCE was prompted by the latest in a string of unexpected attacks. I regret to inform you that the operation has failed.
Before our drones could complete their assignments, our troops were overrun by enemy forces. It is clear they knew what we were trying to do. Our troops were forced to salvage what they could before withdrawing from the battlefield. While we will put the salvaged materials to good use, we’ve learned very little about the initial attacks or how we might counter similar attacks in the future.
We will continue our investigation. I know that comes as little consolation to those involved. To you, all I can say is that you must stay alert and rely on your fellow soldiers. The Reapers have a plan. We must be ready for anything.

Edit: 231,456 escorts were successful. Close, but not enough.
We already told you many time, that is what you get when your victory pack is nothing more than a jumbo pack.
Why would we work 2 days in easier and less rewarding difficulty for 30k worth of consumables for your operation when a single gold run is worth the double.
Put Promo weapons inside of them and the comunity will be mobilized, this is almost guaranteed.

But yeah, sounds rigged in order to introduce DLC or some other surprise. Can't complain, though. The week when Banshees would spawn randomly in any match was an awesome "punishment"' so whatever they have in store, hopefully it will be fun.

The squad packs are fairly worthless but I have gotten a n7 weapon each allied pack.

I got barely any escort missions over the weekend, when I usually get all the time.
Maybe this is a set-up for a new DLC? Hopefully.

Edit: Thank you. Well, at least we were close. I blame the random objective generator.
Likewise. I didn't get any escort missions for two days straight this weekend. <_<
