Soldiers of the Milky Way –

    As mentioned in previous communications, we’ve seen a number of reports describing unusual enemy activity. Operation VIGILANCE was prompted by the latest in a string of unexpected attacks. I regret to inform you that the operation has failed.

    Before our drones could complete their assignments, our troops were overrun by enemy forces. It is clear they knew what we were trying to do. Our troops were forced to salvage what they could before withdrawing from the battlefield. While we will put the salvaged materials to good use, we’ve learned very little about the initial attacks or how we might counter similar attacks in the future.

    We will continue our investigation. I know that comes as little consolation to those involved. To you, all I can say is that you must stay alert and rely on your fellow soldiers. The Reapers have a plan. We must be ready for anything.

Next  Operation Destiny  ^ ;=) *21/23  09 2012 

Food stocks on Destiny reduced to a critical level. Lieutenant Scott, who led the expedition to the unstable planet whose address was blocked systems Destiny. When boarding the shuttle gets into a violent storm and crashed into the ground, severely damaged. The way back to Destiny can only be through the gates, but their condition is far worse than you could imagine ...

Wow I had at least one escort in each mission I played this weekend (played about fifteen), and in one of them all three were escorts, so people shouldn't be accusing bioware of anything. Maybe you guys were just unlucky?

Not really shocked. Out of ALL the games I played this weekend I only received five or six escort missions. It felt like there were actually less escort missions than usual. I wonder if I received the squad goal with the bunch of non-mic'd people I was soooo lucky to play with this weekend (sarcasim).

We were set up to fail. I played probably 15 hours this weekend and got maybe 5 or 6 escort missions total.

If we won this mission I promised to buy drinks for all.... at the home world bar. I suppose now I have a few more credits to jingle in my pocket. We will not fail next time! It was closer than I thought, but that does not get the job done.

Given that I never buy jumbo equipment packs, I like the victory packs. Gives me supplies I need for gold / platinum matches.

General Comment. It seems that BioWare needs to adjust the frequency of the mission since a lot of people couldn't get escort. I myself played about 35 matches and had about 40 escort missions, with 9 in a row. Close, but I think it was just a little too far since just playing around without the operations, many of the people I've talked to seem to get escort very rarely.

I remember in one match (one day prior to the operation), we had 3 escorts. Then when the op is running we get retrieve missions.... and the fact that when I (finally) had a escort mission, in wave 10 someone uses medi-gel/missiles/ops.

At least we tried.
