I solo'd mine on bronze. I've been playing for a while with almost maxed out rares so i'm not going to be arrogant enough to say you should have been able to do that. What I do think is that it's not a bad thing for us to make some regular friends we play with that we trust. I think that's what this was supposed to achieve. You're on BSN and you obviously play online- surely these are all the tools you need to meet someone you can trust for one game? If you are on xbox add me- i'm rubysingularity and would love to help any time you need a team mate and we are both online.

Exactly. You can play the additional 8% and come out with +0 escorts.brian_breed wrote...

Huh? . I (nor has anyone else I recall) said anything along the lines of
"well, since I've been getting less than 20%, I'm due for a hot streak". (What we derisively called "the due theory" in my poker playing days)
All I said was that if we missed by 8%, it is logical, AND statistical, that another ~8% games played would get you there. In a VERY LARGE # of trials, this is the case.
Now who is missing the point?
PS: Crusader III. Damn, I was due for a Hurricane III
Each objective round in each mission has a 1 in 5 chance of providing an escort mission. Those odds do not accrue. Why are you contending that an additional 8% of matches would yield the necessary number of escort missions?

Soldiers of the Milky Way –
As mentioned in previous communications, we’ve seen a number of reports describing unusual enemy activity. Operation VIGILANCE was prompted by the latest in a string of unexpected attacks. I regret to inform you that the operation has failed.
Before our drones could complete their assignments, our troops were overrun by enemy forces. It is clear they knew what we were trying to do. Our troops were forced to salvage what they could before withdrawing from the battlefield. While we will put the salvaged materials to good use, we’ve learned very little about the initial attacks or how we might counter similar attacks in the future.
We will continue our investigation. I know that comes as little consolation to those involved. To you, all I can say is that you must stay alert and rely on your fellow soldiers. The Reapers have a plan. We must be ready for anything.
--Admiral Hackett
Edit: 231,456 escorts were successful. Close, but not enough.

I soloed mine as well (just to make sure I can ask them to give it to me if I dont get the pack automatically). You can nail a bronze solo match without hig-end equipemnt. I did mine with a level20 Destroyer+ Harrier II + Reager III. Run around a lot thats the key. Pick them out one by one.
Geth and Cerberus are good enemies for soloing. Geth dont have any bosses who can insta-kill you. However I prefer cerberus. A Reagar can kill a Phantom very quickly. If there is an Atlas, saty awya from it and kill him last. In a Map like Firebase Gaint (isn't that the Tuchanka map?), you have a lot of room to run around and see where enmies are.

You guys are missing the point in the quoted complaint. Since objectives are randomized, we can have no direct influence on the outcome of the event.
No, I don't think we are missing the point. You COULD directly influence the outcome by PLAYING MORE. See my other post. The sample set was so large that the randomness was removed (unless it wasn't truly random). The primary things at play were:
(1) How many missions Bioware assumed we would have to play to achieve the goal
(2) How many we did play
We missed by EIGHT PERCENT. If we all played 8% more games (9% to be safe), mission success!
"The Gambler's fallacy, also known as the Monte Carlo fallacy (because its most famous example happened in a Monte Carlo Casino in 1913), and also referred to as the fallacy of the maturity of chances, is the belief that if deviations from expected behaviour are observed in repeated independent trials of some random process, future deviations in the opposite direction are then more likely."
This is true if the sample size is smal.. Since Escort mission has a probablity of 1/5 to appear, 1,000,000 matches is a pretty big sample size. Gambler's fallacy is true, but all it says is just becuase you X type missions N times in a row does not mean N+1th mission will not be X. All 5 types of missions has equal probablity to become the N+1th mission.
But when we play a large amount of games (like 1,000,000), the total ratio of each type of missions will apporach the theoratical value whicc is 1/5. (Refer Law of Large Numbers)
So playing more missions would have eventually helped us complete the goal
PS: Unless BioWare did something to the RNG

Don't think the Scion is necessary as Ravagers pretty much do what they do, but Scions and Collectors are all gone anyway, right?
I think the most logical choice would be adding the 3 Merc groups...maybe a little greedy, so I would start with Blue Suns then add on....but that doesn't work with the storyline as they are in our employ right now.....Unless we take Omega back and when the job's done we're back to being opposing forces....

Don't play console? You buy a control because you want no control over your hardware or gaming experience. You have no control over your gaming experience right now, so you should be happy.do anybody know how to fix the black-screen for Xbox 360? i can't even play ME3 without the black-screen so i can't get my commendation pack.
