You can fail the overall mission objective but still get the squad objective.

I am on PSN, but it has always been that way for me. Any mission we've failed I have still gotten the Commendation Pack for.

Got the N7 Crusader in the commendation pack. Same as on the previous operation. I Barely even use that shotgun. I hope next time I'll get a different weapon, like maybe the N7 Hurricane.

I usually use assault rifles (phaeston) and occasionally a sniper rifle. But seeing as I have an N7 Eagle III and the N7 Hurricane II I think I'll take them into a mission and see how they go. So, in advance to anyone I end up playing with, I'm sorry if I turn out to be crap with them lol.

Ha! You and I think alike....I am pretty much only comfortable with my Paladin VI (my sniper pistol)...I suffer through ammo shortages and low fire rate to get the power and accuracy while keeping the weight down. Don't really like the feel of anything else. So while I love the thought of buffing the weapons, in truth I only am looking for Paladin VII...I don't want to screw someone else's match up while experimenting with something I don't feel comfortable with....

I know exactly how you feel. I broke a bone in my hand a couple days ago and have a splint on. Silly me, I tried playing mp, thinking I wouldn't put too much strain on it. I turned out to be pretty crap while playing with it on as I kept losing grip on the controller and ending up firing at nothing ha ha. But it got me to thinking, I'll be on in an hour or so after the kiddies are in bed. If you want to, we can play a match and experiment with the new weapons so if we are crap with them, we won't be ruining anyone elses game.

Wicked, I should be on for most of the evening as I'll be hiding the remote on the hubby ha ha. I'll prob get a couple missions done in sp before I head on to mp. Hopefully I'll see you later

I played around 20 games this weekend... Only got one escort per game, so how do you get 250,000 escorts if you only get one per game? Kinda seemed like you wanted us to fail, no?

Why werent there escorts on every objective so we can reach your lofty expectation?

How about about 250.000 games played then? Assuming that 50.000 players were active over the weekend, everyone would have had to make 5 games on average. Doesn't sound that much to me.

If you read through the forums though, you will see that many players only played a solo match to get their Comm pack, many played only 2, or 3 games and were frustrated because someone used a medpack and gave up.

In general far too many players only cared for their personal victory and forgot about the assignment.

Not quite, because you can have up to 4 people completing a single Escort, but generally the answer is more matches.

I would say four people completing an esort would only count as one escort mission.

Of course the answer is probably more than 250.000, that's why I said "about".

I meant the 5 matches each thing....probably closer to 20 matches each assuming 50,000 users because the whole "divide by four" scenario for 4-player matches. Either way, i got your point and agree.

Hey Datdude1970, have you tried the Arc pistol out? I tend to use it as my go to snipe pistol.  It has very good damage and accuracy and high fire rate.  Spec out for pistol high caliber barrel, scope or ultralight pistol materials.  I do like the sound of the Paladin but i shy away from using it as the fire rate is lower than I would like.  My N7 Eagle Lv VI has very good fire rate but some kick back to it, albeit it's not my fav.

not surprised by the failure, considering none of the matches I played had escort missions... If they wanted it to succeed they should've upped their frequency, not lower it...
