Probably fails easily since the game only has one game mode at moment with the destryed Mass Effect Franchise following thair massive blunder on crating a belivable ending and the failure to create a game they wanted us to belive they've made. This only leads to conclusion that they are severely blinded by ego and bigotry, and think more people actually play mass effect 3 still and set the bar to high for the events.

Play failures has nothing to do with people slacking, it's simply set after delusions of how many that actually play Mass Effect 3 still.

Dragon Age 2 is a BW title..
SWTOR is a BW title..
ME 3 is a BW title..

If they just learned from mistakes and history and stopped crate hype and lie about what they're actually making.. many of us would still play thair games instead of come back to forums and laugh.

That sounds like bull to me. I played around 30 matches (which is really seldom, but my job opened its clutches once) and had around 30-40 escort missions.

i really don't believe any of the "i played 10,000 games and only got 3 escorts" bollocks myself, if anything i saw more than usual and almost always one per game. anecdotal and may have lucked out but either way community goal failed and stats tracking would have helped but the whole thing was reliant on chance - community packs are jumbos with 1 good thing in my experience so no huge loss.

commendations however...still waiting.

I played about 10 matches this weekend, and only one of them had escort missions. There were two out of 3 that one time, but the other nine matches didn't have any. So out of 30 possible escort missions, only 2 were escorts, and 28 were not. I played right after the Earth DLC came out, and all I got were escort missions, I think Bioware made them less common for this mission.

Victory pack!?!?!? As if anyone cares about that hunk of junk. As soon as they qualify for a commendation pack, nowadays, everyone's done...... Myself included.

This operation was doomed to fail. Not even so much the escorts but the whole don't use any gear during an entire mission thing by anyone on the squad. That had to be troll laden. I admittedly did not play Mass Effect at all this weekend. I have been on NBA 2k12 (cant wait for 2k13) and Skyrim.

The victory pack is a piece of crape for me anyway. Just give me the commendation pack and i will keep playing.

I hardly had any escort missions while playing this past weekend. No wonder we failed. Kept getting missions to carry objects instead and rarely had hacks or multiple points to collect data.

This was a setup for failure. I only had escort missions half of my missions. Lots of retrieval, but few escort. And someone would always use a rocket and medi-gel rather than hang together. Instead we hung separately.

No . They are 2 seperate goals. As long as you did the squad goal you will get your Commendation pack.
This means that you and your team mates had to use no consumables , (medi-gel ,thermal clips, Rockets or ops survival packs) for the first 10 waves. Hard to know whether anyone used a ops survival or thermal clip in your team ...which is why so many people chose to solo a mission.

To be fair, do people actually FAIL escort missions? I have yet to see that happen, unless everyone is dead.

Agreed. They could have set special circumstances to insure every match had at least one, but instead left it to the RNG. If Bioware woulf give us a running count along the way we could at least know if we are getting close. I'm shocked they haven't built tools to do this since it would automate their job of ruling it a success or failure.

So have they given out commendation packs yet? I haven't gotten mine yet! I know of at least 1 time I played that no one used anything. And if I don't get a commendation pack, I am just supposed to take Bioware at its word that someone used something, because for myself, I know I didn't use anything. This is a ridiculous squad goal! And with no way for me to verify, I am not happy!

In case you didn't notice, we failed. Nobody will be getting the packs.

On other operations, if we failed, we would still get commendation packs, just not victory packs. Is this one different?
