Bugs winning, operations failing...what can I say? We failed operation??? Oh No.. not just we, this is not only WE who playing this game, it is a BIOWARE multiplayer and what it means for us when we talking about such operations and some time restricted goals? - All my friends during/after every mission say "Damn that Bioware with their buggy game..." and I agree...There are tooooooo much bugs that prevent us from what we are want to do. For example the mightiest bug - we ( I and many of my friends) can't play together because of unknown problem with bioware servers, we can't pass the "connecting" screen and get to the lobby, BUT we can hear each other. We are using VPN to bypass this annoying bug. This was from the very beginning of the multiplayer and it is NOT solved even now! Thanks Bioware... and now they say we fail the operation? Excuse me, but we at least trying... even with this buggiest game ever...

Dammit!!! And I really thought we had accomplished the goal for victory. Only 20 000 short. I got quite a few escort missions over the three days I played and was really hoping that most players were grinding away during all three days as well.
If I'm not getting at least my commendation pack then I'm going into bloodrage.

Naturally it failed,.

Given how rare the escort missions are at times, and at-least for pc users the servers seemed somewhat buggy this weekend, got kicked alot when  searching for matches.

No . They are 2 seperate goals. As long as you did the squad goal you will get your Commendation pack.
This means that you and your team mates had to use no consumables , (medi-gel ,thermal clips, Rockets or ops survival packs) for the first 10 waves. Hard to know whether anyone used a ops survival or thermal clip in your team ...which is why so many people chose to solo a mission.

Exactly! I tried 2 or 3 matches on bronze but people would use the stuff anyway. So I solo'd a bronze match myself. As for the escort thing all I can say is I played 4-5 missions this weekend. I got only 1 escort  and it was on my solo mission.

I bet you next mission no commusables for either victory or squad.


And by that means those things being disabled, not sure if they can do that though but oddly would make sense since supplies got attacked and we where not able to salvage much.

Like some others I really didn't see many escort missions at all - not to mention people ignoring the 'no consumables challenge. Why do I get the feeling this whole operation was 'rigged' - must be those damn Reapers hacking or indoctrinating everything

Wouldn't surpise me but we did come close it seems, but either way builds up things for a new foe beng interduced hopefully.

You will still get that if you succeeded.

Never got them in the past why now?

If you didn't get them then you were one of teh people that just doesn't get them sometimes. We always get them when we fail. Squad goal and allied goal are different.

You do get commendation packs, even if we fail.

What is with all of the noobs who don't know what they're talking about who keep saying that we don't get commendation packs if we fail the allied goal? We DO get comm packs if we completed the squad goal. That's how it is, that's how it's always been. So quit acting like the noobs wondering when they'll get their packs are idiots and saying that they won't get them, because they will!

If you made the squad goal you will still get the com pack, part of why there is two different goals one is for victory pack if the allied goal is met, the other is for squad goal the two are not connected.

So no vic pack for anyone since we failed, but if you finished the squad goal you get a com pack.

Hope that helps with the new people, and most com packs typically come in one wedsday midday or eve.

Just from my experience anyhow.

Nobody is even stating to have received a commendation pack yet. So quit whining and wait until Wednesday.

And for all intents and purposes, since we can't prove we actually achieved the squad goal, many of you better be crossing your fingers you don't gotta jump through hoops to get your commendation packs. At least for the ppl who either solo'd once all weekend, or only did 1 match for w.e. reason.

I think people are whining because it is already Wednesday in some countries (like over here) and the don't take the time difference in account.

it happens. most of the ones i got weren't escort. so it bio ware fault or how ever the escort missions are chosen

I don't see how this was "set up to fail". The chances of an Escort mission was the same as any other day.
If you go to a store to buy 5 items of food, and the items are not placed directly in front of you as you walk in through the door. Are you set up to starve?

I think they could have set the challenge to Bronze difficulty only. That way the number of matches played would have been much higher overall.

Surprised some people are saying they didn't have many Escort waves. Played about 20 missions (on PS3) over the weekend and had an Escort wave in every one. I assumed BioWare had adjusted the game settings to make sure that was the case.

Aside from this.. the recent failure means we may be losing player base already.

Little surprised we got as high as 231k, actually. So near yet so far.

Wonder if the next one will be an 'increased amount of x type' operation?

These failures have a tendency to connect with new DLC. I hope that is the case for this one.
