I don't care if we failed. They are only giving victory packs that you can buy cheaply on the multiplayer store.
Anyway we have commendation pack.

If only they will make the victory pack worth playing hard for, I'm sure many will surely strive harder. Victory should contain a lot more better than what the commendation pack can give. Like maybe 5K-10K Credits it will surely be worth playing to achieve.

I played my usual weekend amount (a lot)

The number of escort missions isn't exactly in our control

I don't really care, no. As long as I get my comm pack I don't give a rip.

You know what would be awesome? On those weeks when there is nothing special in the Victory packs, they could do a special circumstance for one week. These would be positive, like lowering the cost of packs by 20%, we get 50% more credits etc.
We wouldn't fail challenges then.

Hell no. I got online, soloed a bronze and that was it for my MP weekend with ME3.

This. Lmao!

This was pretty much the same for me as well... and as soon as i saw the Operation i knew that there was a very good chance we would fail because it all depended on how often the game decided to give the escort mission to us.
But no, i will not miss my Jumbo equipment pack one bit.

Not really, had BW said we'd be getting an extra Missile or a promotional weapon in the Victory Pack I would have cared, but they didn't have anything special planned so I couldn't really care less that I didn't get my "free" Jumbo Equipment Pack.

Don´t care about the pack. Care VERY MUCH about the bad design decision on Biowares side basing the victory condition on the random missions. Overall you should naturally assume, that with that big a number, pizza delivery missions even out during the course of the operation. However, during operation weekend, escort missions were more rare than usual, whilst just yesterday, I had a game with THREE escort missions in it.

TL;DR: RNG sucks when it comes to setting goals. Just throw a dice next time, Bioware, if you want us to win or not. :pinched:

Not really, I've gotten more drone missions in the half dozen matches I played tonight than 30 odd matches I played during the entire weekend op. While it might just be a coincidence, it wouldn't surprise me if it was tweaked to get us to fail...which doesn't really bother me either.

And as long as Santa delivers a lovely new Crusader II (or dare I hope, an Eagle 1), I'm a happy camper.

We never really get anything in the victory packs for those who play so much. All I get in those are lvl 4 ammo, the money is in the Commendation Packs guarateed promotional weapon. Now I realize that thier were some exceptions Medi-gel cap +1, and an extra promo weapon but that was it if my memory serves right.

How do you guys feel?

I don't care, I played 1 bronze games this weekend for a Commendation Pack, assisted in another one and don't plan to play any ME3 games anytime soon.

Out of 64 online friends that I played ME3 with several months ago, about 80% of them don't play anymore. Only several persons from my friends list still play on a regular basis.

Victory Packs are about equall in their worth to Eqipment Packs, so aiming for them has no point especially that this game multiplayer playerbase is melting due to lack of new game modes, unfixed bugs and insufficient amount of competitivness.

ME3 servers are going to turn into the ghost-land in the next several months.

Just let it die peacefully while it still looks good and move to some more interesting multiplayer title.

More or less ME series is a king of singleplayer cRPG's and nothing is going to change that.

even though I haven't been playing ME3 that long I am not surprised it failed.

I played a lot this weekend, and escourt mission hardly popped for the groups I was in, and people kept commenting that very little in other games had happened.

I just used it to farm for weapons and char cards, got a Harrier which I am more then happy with, still no destroyer which is something I really would like.

Stopped caring ages ago, I can just buy a jumbo equipment pack and call it a victory pack, practically get the same things. I've always done just enough for the squad goal cause the community goal has always been a joke.

That would be a great incentive, I'm drolling just thinking about it! ^_^

I never expected us to successfully complete the operation considering what it was asking us to do. Does it matter though? Victory packs are complete garbage. There needs to be more of an incentive to them to give players more of a reason to care about these challenges.

One op also gave everyone a rare gear mod, if they hadn't unlocked one yet. But yeah, I don't give a crap about this loss. At ALL.

Disappointed since it was my first weekend op (started playing post ALLOY)
not surprised by failure (though I'd love to see if the RNG was tampered with to reduce escorts)
Actually surprised we came as close as we did... Wondering why it seemed to take a long time to announce?

Not so much. Without reading any, I'm sure the other posts in this thread are saying what I'm thinking - There's never anything worthwhile in the Victory packs.

Minus that one operation where we got a guaranteed UR, obvs.

Do I care that we failed? Yes and no. I don't like failing as a general rule, however this op kind of took success out of our hands to a certain extent. We could play all the matches we wanted to (and I played my fair share), but our success in this operation depended entirely on something out of our control. I noted many people post that the number of escort missions they encountered dropped off during the weekned and picked back up after the operation was over. While it was nowhere near as bad for me as some people claimed, I too seemed to notice a drop off. Now, it might just seem that way since I really wanted the escort missions, but that's the way it seemed at least.
