A bit. I like doing these weekend ops because they're fun. Its when I see people not even trying to help because the reward isnt worth it that I think "Well why should I even bother then?". I can see why people are like that, I just wish they weren't.
I'll keep playing the weekend ops, even if they dont change the reward.

I actually am delighted, as I most always try to help contribute to the allied goal's failure.

Its always interesting either way, I like seeing multiplayer's story unfold . . . and the consequences added to next week's DLC.

If they continued to increase the consumables cap for things like for example missile launcher capacity or ammo packs it would be worth it. This way i dont care in the slightest.

The same enemies, goals, conditions and minor rewards will only lead to even more players caring less.

While one never likes to lose, one cannot win them all. We are fighting reapers after all, and conventional victory is impossible.

They set us up to fail. This was a very uninspired operation on BW's part. I wonder if they actually debate on these operations or if someone comes up with them at toilet time?

Not really. My interest in multiplayer has been low for a while now. I only played two matches this weekend to make sure I met the requirements for the commendation pack. Also, as many others have said before me, victory packs aren't exciting at all. Sure, it's nice to get some free supplies, but given the commitment many players have put into keep multiplayer alive, they should be better rewarded. I've said it before and I'll say it again - start putting collector assault rifles in victory packs. Even if the next ten operations are successes, it will still take at least twenty weeks for people who don't have them to max them out. As for those who max them out early...well, I don't know how to reward them. Then again, it's not my job to figure out the fans. That's BioWare's job.

No, not really and also its not like it wasn't setup that way either. I saw fewer escort missions over the weekend and more hacking/4 deactivate than anything else.

I am a bit indifferent, some of the objectives that I really pound the hours into as they are interesting, then yes I want us to win at all costs....this one didn't have a lot of appeal for me, I did 15 games over the three days, I had some doubts on the numbers as I wasn't getting a lot of escort missions....had they put an escort in every mission and made the number higher, then yes I would have pounded the hours and would have been very hopeful for a win.

I hate failing, but the Allied reward simply isn't enough for me to get bent out of shape when it isn't achieved.
If all the Operations actually led up to something, like a massive push for a homeworld, and affected how difficult it was, that'd make me more interested.
Besides, I put in my 40 escorts.
Anymore and I'd have burnt out.

I'm actually kinda pissed, I feel like we got taunted in that failure message. I mean "the have to solo a mission to be sure" squad goal was fine. The "doomed to fail" allied goal was fine. Then basically a middle finger to the people actually still playing this game?! Rubbed me the wrong way...there better be a DLC soon and it better be sweet. Or I'm out!

Without being too technical, i am fairly sertain that the magnitute of the reward will reflect the amount of ****s given by the community.
Not a single reward given = Not a single **** was given.
Extra N7 weapon or extra consumeable slot was given = Lots of ****s was given.

I got one or two escort objectives and I played at least eight missions. Really? How are people supposed to succeed, aside from luck and a ludicrous amount of playtime.
At this point, I couldn't care less about the victory pack anyway. The only time it gave anything good were the extra promotional weapons and the medigel upgrade.

If a Victory pack had a guaranteed Uber-rare Gear in it ( man those thing are more rare than UR's), then I would care that we failed.
I also think that the community would have tried harder with something other than a MEP (mini equipment pack) at stake.
I just love steak.

Nope.
I'd care if it was a Missile or Ops pack upgrade or a guaranteed ultra rare. Just more rare equipment? I could care less.

Frankly I rather figured we'd lose the moment I read the requirements. It isn't like you get at least one drone objective every match. It's random. It's pretty difficult to accomplish target goals when luck of randomness plays a huge factor. Only like one or two of the matches I went in had a drone objective. Regardless I still like to take part in these operations, even when the prize isn't a new consumable slot. Its fun - just not when it feels like its doomed to failure from the start.
The Squad/Individual Goals though I /always/ try to get if I'm aware of it/have the time. Because that's the only way to get promotional weapons and I really want to unlock a Valiant to play with... here's hoping. At least the Crusader has gotten some buffs recently. Kinda makes up for the fact that I seem to keep unlocking it instead of the Valiant I been wanting. Going to have to try that shotgun-sniper out again sometime.
