Claymore not doing damage to phantoms?

Resurrecting this post because I have noticed this trend.

It only happens when I host but I can shoot a phantom dead on the body and it takes no damage. Sometimes it seems to do damage to health but leaves the barriers intact. It only seems to happen with phantoms for some reason, all other mooks take damage normaly.
Using G.I with Claymore (Choke and Extended Barrel) and AP rounds. I have also tried SC with shredder, disruptor and  Incendiary rounds when hosting and  they all seem prone to this glitch.  Let me make this clear however, when offhost its fine, a body shot will tend to take either half to full shields and some health depending on how well placed the shot is. On host the shield remains but the health seems to go away, still cant kill her until her shields are removed. And sometimes the damage is minor despite full on hit.
Any new info would be great

Well, I haven't used the Claymore lately, but I did experience the "damage health but barrier remains untouched" bug again, only with the Graal.

As if lag weren't bad enough for the Graal already, now we get this too.

I don't want to sound paranoid, but these bugs that just happen to blatantly benefit phantoms are starting to feel a bit too... Convenient. Kinda like how geth hunters and rocket troopers are "difficult", if you know what I mean.

from the tests I've been able to do so far ...

A phantom that is not standing perfectly still takes only *0.25 weapon damage ...

Keep in mind ammo damage will apply just fine ...

I had the same thing happen the other day. I was shooting it and even while doing reload cancel to get more hits on it. It was still only taking 2 bars of barrier. I ended up dead a fair few times because of it.

A Phantom can take more than an Atlas sometimes. You can't explain that. <_<

just as a side note only 1 of your weapons will have the armour piercing effect as there is a bug that makes only the higher level gun have it i think or it might be the gun that you start the match with.

Bioware allows Phantoms to cheat. If they are doing one of their frakkin retarded ballet spins while you take your shot, your bullet will only do 10% damage compared to its regular 100%.

Funny how our Drell's just get their brains splattered when we try that shiz. Biased much?

When you're off host, there's a delay between your client and the host's client, which for some reason messes with Phantom behaviour. So host will always get the DR on Phantoms when shooting them, whereas off-host, sometimes they will, but most of the time the Phantom will just move like usual, with no DR.

I dont think so, my ping is awlays above norm and I live in the U.S.

That would make sense, so on-host the phantom's D.R acts like its supposed to and off host it does not.  That would explain why they are so much easier to kill off host. 
Its still weird damaging health but not the barriers thing.

All this problem with the phantom came after Retaliation, when BiowEAr included the stupid bubble with the phantoms. You don't suffer this problem if you delete the DLCs as I do sometimes to get widow upgrades and Hurricane upgrades in the spectre packs (there is no stupid crap like explosive rounds, drill, phasic or shield power cells so every weapon is an N7 weapon in those packs). I really like playing in the old firebase White and Glacier with my friends without those DLCs full of bugs.
