For Reactor I'm guessing something involving the reactor room, maybe an occasional shield draining pulse? FBW has the obvious cold-weather thing going for it... DOT seems a bit much, but maybe it periodically slows you down? No clue about Dagger, Ghost, Glacier, or Giant. Nothing about them seems particularly hazardous or like a good area to have a hazard.

Environmental hazard will make this game so tough to play on Platinum. But if it like stuff akin to Force of Nature from Gears 3 pack, that's more fog and rain, I don't see the harm.

Reactor could be the same as single player - i.e. toxic gas which forces you to stay up on the higher level temporarily or take DOT if caught in it.
White could feature an ice storm that forces you to stay inside or cause DOT.
Or you could see blizzards on White or Sandstorms on Giant, temporarily reducing visibility (think the geth mission in ME2 where your visibility is low, can't remember it's name).
I saw someone suggest flying units as well - i.e. off-map Harvester's flying around for Reapers, Geth dropships or gunships for Cerberus.

They will more then likely announce it tuesday to get some attention from the release of borderlands 2
although an announcement today and release tuesday would be better
