i blame ninja stan.

There won't be a decline in good players ever again like there will be in the next week.

Pretty much this.  One heavy-handed moderation has done what tons of game-breaking bugs, glitchers, cheaters, and repetitive gameplay couldn't - remove ME3 from my Xbox.

Well said, I will be deleting my account here very soon. Likely trading in this game, for what it is barely worth, for something new. Probably Borderlands 2. See you on our new site Wyld ( and everyone else from AreleX ).

This. This. This.  No probably about it for me. Especially after I read those threads. Thanks Ninja!!!

glad im not the only one. ninja stan is the biggest troll on these forums he has personally ruined bioware for me. i have asked for my account to be deleted and they basically have refused, awful good at closing threads but can't delete an account? guess if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. i hope im no ninja stan gets a life, quits hate'n moves out of his moms basement and maybe gets laid. then just maybe he can be a non butthurt productive member of society.

There is only 1 game mode.. anyone with a brain could tell you that doing the same thing over and over again will for most people get them bored. Unless they have a mental condition and lack part of their brain. Its 4AM and i anint spelling or writin' so good. MAKE NEW GAME MODES@@@!!!!

Too long with nothing new, if Bioware told us of new Dlc sooner more people might hang on, but lack of information and people move on to try new games.

  • Bugs.  Glitches.
  • Grinding to get weapons.  It takes something like 1000 hours of non-stop Gold matches to max the inventory.  That'd be fine, if there was more variety. There isn't though.
  • Cheap-ass unrealistic opponents that disobey established game mechanics
  • Nerfing ("balancing") of people's favorite weapons and powers, to the point of frustration
  • People just generally moving on, as most people do after they've done something for a while

I have plenty of old games that I still play online and so do others so it being 6 months old is a poor excuse. As long as Its a good multiplayer game with plenty of DLC content being released at the present and in the future people will keep playing. The only thing that can keep people playing a game or make them wanna stop playing as well is always a change.

I say this with good reason because recently when I've played with a lot of people online they normally either complain about changes being done that they dont agree with or that enough changes to improve the game weren't happening. Then after those comments they would then say that's the reason this game sucks and that they wont play it no more.

I'm not saying that changes are the only reason for the decline. I'm sure some people can get sick of the game or move on to a new one. Then again it usually takes someone along time to move on to another game especially if they truly like that game that they are into to. I for one think that this multiplayer is great and has a lot more to offer it just needs some improvements , steady support, and a good flow of DLC now and in the future.

Bottomline is as long as Bioware stays committed to making multiplayer successful like they originally claimed and delivers on that it will be along time before mass effect 3 multiplayer dies out.

I'm on PC and haven't noticed a decline at all, if I start a match on my own I have a full team join in by the end of the first wave, same as six months ago.

If there are lower numbers than usual though, they'll shoot right back up the moment a new MP DLC comes out.

When I'm still needing Uncommon and Rare Gear and getting the above I pretty much question why I'm still wasting my time on the game.

Stop buying PSPs.

Maybe you can enlighten me as to the optimal way to unlock URs and Rare Gear then.

Random is random of course, but I've had better luck with gear from regular SP.  Heck, even buying Veteran packs for consumables, I seem to get a silver or gold gear about every 8 to 10 packs.  No UR's from a vet pack, though.

On topic, the game is 6 months old, and the MP is pretty repetative.  In my opinion, the manifest expansions and RNG store system is pretty daunting to new players.  One of my co-workers got into the MP portion about a month ago, and plays occassionally.  We usually do Silver and a little Gold just to get him some credits, but he hasn't unlocked much yet (still missing even one level of some 'uncommon' weapon mods).

I think it's kind of a downer when he realizes how much he would have to play to get even close to a well-rounded Rare manifest.  Why put that time in to a game that's been out this long already, especially with all the titles on the horizon the next few months?

If you have Uncommons still to unlock you should be buying Veteran Packs.

Buying VPs is just exchanging Gold Card frustration for Silver.  The drop rates on Uncommon Gear in VPs has been worse for me than the Gold in SP/PSP.  Check out my Manifest and you can compare my progression of Uncommon/Rare Gear.  The massive issue I have is that single use gear/ammo should not be awarded unless you have the gear for that level maxed.  I buy VPs and I receive the same ammo trolling just with a Silver border.

I'd like more game modes or different enemies or something. But it needs to be shaken up a bit.

I really enjoy this multiplayer..I think it has alot of potential. I haven't really been playing it lately because it's pretty much the same old, but if they inject some new stuff, I'll be back.

More, different game modes. I can only play horde mode so many times before I get sick of it.

It's a great game, which I' still playing loads, but it is only one game and it will fade as new games come out.

I'm personally looking forward to the new Need for Speed. I'm much better at Racing games. I get the impression that many of the ME crowd are looking forward to Borderlands.
