Banshees by a long shot. Sync kill > Geth Turret

Both are pretty tough. I would rather deal a Banshee, seems like they go down faster.

What makes Primes annoying is the stun-lock pulse gun that they use, plus the turrets. That makes it generally a bad idea to stand in the open and shoot them. They pin you down pretty effectively, unless you have a metaphorical backdoor open.

Banshees flush you from cover, instead of pinning you down. They close in relentlessly, and while you're running from them, the other troops kill you.

Essentially, Primes are more dangerous alone than Banshees. But depending on the map, Banshees can be more dangerous with backup. The Banshee insta-kill is annoying, but it's only a problem if you're already pinned or you get surprised.

Primes. Their constant deployment of turrets and drones (I don't know what the hell the Drone does, though), and insanely powerful cannon does, for me, more often cause trouble than the Banshee and its silly Warp Ball. In addition, I fint the combination of Barriers and Armor to be a more... flexible protection system. If I equip Warp Ammo, I can drain the Barriers faster and debuff the Armor beneath.

Primes by a long shot. Literally. banshees are fairly easy to avoid, and they don't stunlock

Yeah but they're ardat-yakshi, so even if they do go down fast, you're not going to live long enough to enjoy it.

Why is this even a thing? The most dangerous thing about Geth Primes is their turrets.*

*I play a lot of vanguard, I may hate banshees a little more than the average man.

The Prime's drone is there to reveal cloaked enemies, I believe.  Which is why a Prime is super annoying as an Infiltrator.

Primes because they stun you and deploy 4 turrets behind you every 2 seconds. 2nd hardest is phantoms I had one dodge 6 proximity bombs in a row yesterday.

What Tolazy said. Primes get bullied by vanguards, batarians, destroyers, and mqis.

You kiddin'? Atlases are harder to kill than Primes. Banshees are the hardest boss unit in the game.

O.o You *must* be kidding there. Banshees are pretty easy and quick to handle as an Adept. Primes on the other hand take ages just to get through their shield. The only problem with Banshees is, that you have to keep moving as an AA, so you're out in the open and can be fired on by other units.

Simple

Primes make you lose DPS because if you don't destroy the turrets, they will RAPE you.

Banshees deny power damage with their special barrier.

Banshees for power classes

Primes for everyone else.

See, the thing about primes is that with any level of coordination, their turrets and drones get tech bursted/biotic exploded the second they're deployed. Turrets can be more difficult because they're often further away but all it requires is a little vigilance to one-hit them with throw/energy drain/overload/whatever.

I feel when they're both stood still or walking it's about the same as long as you be sensible, be aware and use cover well. But then Banshees start doing their warp jump thing and you can't be 100% sure where they'll end up. So i'll say Banshees.

While I respect Big Red and take him seriously I just don't feel "he's" as serious a threat as a banshee. Banshee's teleport up ladders, across cover, hit you with warp that can knock out your shield and continue to drain your health, their explosive aura is bad too and then of course sync kill...

I think it really depends. When the Banshee is charging, the reaction is appropriately like "gah sh*t run dammit run" whereas when it is doing the hurrdurr slow walk it's just a damage tank.

The prime however is always a damage tank, and it shoots out those turrets all the time, and it stunlocks into oblivion.

Overall, the prime is harder or more annoying, but when a Banshee is charging, a;sljdghasueafsahsidufhai

A Hunter is harder to take down than a Banshee. Primes? Kiss your Medi-Gel goodbye.

Depends on the character one is using. The kroguard can take two primes out without a problem but is killed quickly by the banshee.

Primes are generally worse though. Stunlock, cheap turret and drone.

No

Equip a Ramp Shield and a Stairs Ring and Banshees do 0 damage

2 Primes with their silly 4 Turrets can and will deplete Shield+Shield Gate + Health + Health gate, before you can say oh shi-

I prefer killing primes. Banshees sync kill, and also remind me of people I know...scary stuff. ROFL, especially if you play something that should not be flushed from cover or else has to normally stand up close and personal. Can't tell you how frustrating it is when a banshee SIMULTANEOUSLY teleports to me and sync kills me through a wall or around a corner.

Definitely Banshees. Atleast you can hide from the Primes and they move slowly enough that you can kite them. But Banshees? You could be running along and then a Banshee just teleports through the wall and sync kills you without any warning. That teleporting is really what it comes down to; while both have their counters, the erratic movement of the Banshees makes it harder to use those counters.
