Does anyone know which subfolder the installed DLCs go to? Reason im asking is so i can copy the entire folders contents (of the DLC) as backup, in case anything goes wrong. Don't want to have paid and then let something go wrong.
Also, im interested in installing the game on 2 (and possibly more) computers. One in a desktop at home, and another on a laptop. Im aware that the dvd needs to be inserted for the game to run. But how do i ensure that my DLC carries on from com to com? Would i need to manually copy paste the subfolders into the Dragonage folder after installation to have the DLC on both (or more) computers?

DLC is tied to your Bioware Social Site Account, not the installation of Dragon Age. If you log into Dragon Age with the same account on both computers it should download and install the DLC on both of them. To save download time you could copy the My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age folder from one machine to another.
