I finally managed to fix the very first problem I had where it crashed in the opening cutscene of the game and happily played until I reached the Prothean Core on Mars. The cutscene plays normally until Liara walks up to the console and then it crashes to desktop, saying that "Mass Effect 3 has encountered a problem and must be closed" error.
I've looked for anything similar and the only thing I can find is people crashing at the end of the mission. I've done everything I can think of from repairing the install (errors into 131079:6) to lowering/raising graphics etc. and it still crashes no matter what.
Frankly, I have no idea what do and as such am reaching out to you guys if you might know something I don't.
Please help a fellow gamer.
