TIM made you shoot Anderson with his new indoctrination powers. He flat out says this. Sure, the Reapers are controlling TIM, so I guess you could say they indirectly made Shep do it through a third party. But I would blame TIM. However, what does this have to do with whether or not Dream IT is real and how does it relate to Leviathan? I don't see the connection.
Not sure, but Bryson's assistant was fine one minute, then he shot Dr. Bryson and then EDI said something about indoctrination.
Shepard was fine, then he shot Anderson. I just put them both together.
I don't know, just how I saw it.

Uh, well, yeah? That's literally what that scene is. It's StarChild giving Shepard some options, but presenting Destroy in a negative way. That's not some amazing theory, that's what actually happens in the game.

The literal theory works well with the bad writing theory
Don't forget the speculation theory!
Or the Elephant Theory with parts of the Fish Theory:wizard:

This is the first videogame I've seen which has spawned so many theories. You forgot the Jam theory BTW, and ofcourse the puzzle Theory.

It seems to me like IT is becoming less and less an alternate theory and more just a vauge explanation of events. By that I mean, it seems to currently state that StarChild is trying to present Control and Synthesis as better options by indoctrinating shepard. This is to try and prevent him from choosing Destroy which will kill the reapers.

I believe it's still up to the player to decide what the actual ending is, but that's just me.

Any theory that is just a differing interpretation from what the authors tell you will live as long as the people perpetuate it.

How?
Bioware has stated several times there is no more post ending dlc coming
They have stated that ME3 is the end of sheps jouney and story. No shepard in ME4
Merizan even stated that if your version of IT needs more content post breath scene - that is not the interpretation of bioware nor will it be delivered upon as they are done with the endings.
So...shep wake up and then....?
No more post ending DLC
No ME4 with shepard

Yep. IT-Con doesn't require more DLC for you to have an ending -- the Destroy ending is true, and the other endings are lies -- or is Refuse real? Don't ask me why an indoctrinated Shepard is hearing fake EDI and Sheplyst talking while in Destroy it's really Hackett VOing for the player, but if you buy this, then you've had your ending. IT-Dream is the Sopranos ending on steroids.

I was beginning to think it was the leviathins all along, and there are no reapers. the levis have IT'd the whole galaxy!
and it is just a sick little game they are playing with their followers...making them build crucibles, which is really just a big levi ice cream maker!
they needed someone to fix it, since it was broken in the last cycle, and they only had one flavor for 50k years. now..they get 3 flavors!!! yay!!
Strawberry, blueberry, and lime? Those are lame ice cream flavors.
And as seems fitting, Strawberry is the most delicious of those three. Coincidence? I think not.

Blueberry > Strawberry
unless
Strawberry + Chocolate! mmmm
Strawberry + Chocolate > everything
What is my inference here?
Destroy + Reunion DLC > every ending

Why is the assumption with IT that "the endings are not real"? I believe IT, but have always thought of it as a mix of reality and hallucination. The hallucination part is the indoctrination attempt where the Reapers are trying to get Shep to make a choice favorable to them. The reality part, the choice and its consequence. Leviathan does not change that.
That is an interesting perspective, but that is really not the main IT viewpoint. The majority of the "official" IT is that the ending was a hallucination/dream/not reality. That is what I was saying is disproved.
Your perspective is certainly plausible, but it is really impossible to falsify or verify, since we are not sure which parts are real and which parts are indoctrination.
Actually, the mixed reality/ indoc thing is one of 3 major IT's. The most extreme is that it's all a hallucination after Harby's laser. I think the best way to view IT in general is that before the EC it was the only plausible ending and post-EC literal endings finally get their day in the sun!

Nothing can kill IT because it is a zombie powered by the hopes and dreams of all those who refuse to accept the endings in the game happened as depicted.
are you sure that game happened as depicted? or are you indoctrinated by the Reapers to think that?

Shepard's in a completely different position when he's talking to Leviathan's full bodied apparitions...
He's blacked out when it cuts back to reality...
