In the middle of the Laviathin DLC when I'm trying to rescue Ann Bryson This is a certain ladder I'm trying to go down on to continue the level but I get the animation where Shepperd goes down a ladder but he doesn't go down. In fact he's not even touching the ladder when I should be going down it he just doesn't go far enough out to go down. 

I can't get anywhere in Laviathis with this problem happaning.

Basically, you have to look up (there are youtube videos that will show you exactly how). BioWare are aware of the glitch but havent promised a quick fix

Alternatively try reducing your resolution to 800 x 600. That's worked for me and a few others.
