Even factoring in shipping, it costs €83 to order the tech jacket from the European store versus $80 from the US store, it's cheaper for me to order from the US

I haven't tried it, but it looks like you might be able to order from the US

Yep, I bought a hoodie from the US store, it's possible.

And I don't know why the EU prices are so high. I mean the difference is at least 20$...

VAT, probably: there's another 20% on top already, as well as the possibility of import duty and what-not being applied before sale as well, and then there's the transport costs to get them here in the first place.

I felt pretty much the same way until I realised; this is one reason that US prices often appear much lower than in the EU which is that our prices include VAT, whereas US prices are listed without their sales tax (though I admit the EU prices are still typically higher even taking that into account!)

But it has to be said that I don't think I've ever had a parcel from Treehouse stopped by customs.

Edit: nearly forgot, it is still possible to order from the US.
