Buy veteran packs to max out your uncommons. Check your manifest to see the uncommon weapons. Once maxed out, you can focus on your rares by spending credits on spectre and premium spectre packs.
Better off to simply buy PSP's in my opinion.

Agreed - I don't really understand the logic to max out guns you don't necessarily want that are in a different category than the guns you do want.AaronEh wrote...

The point with this method is that you work your way from the bottom upwards. You can buy alot of veteran packs in comparison to spectre and premium spectre packs, thus making it faster to max out your uncommons which in turn makes it faster to max out your rares.

It doesn't really work that way in practise, though. Having your uncommons maxed doesn't increase your chance of getting additional gold cards in spectre packs. The only reason you'd have it faster maxing out rares is because you get the occasional gold card from a Veteran Pack. It would have been faster if you bought Spectre Packs, though.
If you wanted to get uncommons plus rares I would say Spectre Packs are quite good, as I regularly get 2-3 silver cards out of them plus the 1 gold.
If you just want rares, Premium Spectre is the best way to go.

This is good general advice but it is actually inaccurate for the question asked.
The fastest way to get those exact weapons is to uninstall all other dlc and then get premium spectre packs exclusively.
But be warned, it will still take a lot of packs and then even when you do get them, you may well find they are not as effective as you would hope because you have skipped things like the shredder mod, high caliber barrel and smart choke. You will alway be low on consumables and irritate other people as you have to use medigel much more sparingly. It is probably better zRz Tyr said and just take a more relaxed approach to it. Enjoy the things you do unlock and you will be quite effective a lot faster.

Of course, they did not have premium spectre packs back then. So that's propably why this method worked for me.

You want two specific Rare weapons, but the store only does random drops of weapons and equipment, divided up into slots that hold either common/better, uncommon/better or rare/better. So you are trying to improve the odds of rare weapons drop by picking the pack with the best number of rare slots per credit.
The best credit/pack ratio is the PSP, where you get two Rare slots at 99K credits. The SP has one Rare slot for 60K credits, to get two Rare slots, you must buy two SPs, total of 120K credits.
While there is a chance one of the other slots might drop a Rare, it is very unlikely. If you have uncommon weapons, mods and gear you want, then the calculus changes, but that is not the question you asked. For Rare weapons/gear, go with PSPs. It's the math. And it will take time.

The BEST way is to buy a PSP every time you get to 99,000. You'll get there.
