Then I have hope. Charge of CD and a Cannibal appears around a corner. Target and ZIP! Dead cannibal. Then I'm floating in the air. I rotate the camera, and the Banshee is going through the motions of instant killing me. So am I. But we're a good 20 virtual feet from eachother.

Had this happen to me on Hydra as a Battlemaster. Charged from the evac point through the opening across the map. I got sync-killed from across the map. Luckily I was the only one alive, so my entire team got to watch this. They confirmed I'm not crazy, is what I'm saying...

Silver, Firebase Vancouver. I was running a Geth Infiltrator, she's chases me into the top floor corner office. I start to run out onto the roof when I start to get magnet handed. The animation stops short however and I immediately start running away again. JUST as I was about to jump over the low wall I suddenly fall over DEAD with the message "otakon17 was taken down by Banshee". No second grab animation, no vacuum that time just DEAD. Close second is when one tried to grab me through the floor of the overhead tunnel on Firebase Dagger. From about 50 feet away and a good 20 feet above me with a FLOOR/CEILING between us. Didn't work though .

Firebase White. I ran past her in the lower entrance where you can fall through the floor and spawn on the landing pad. I was out on the 2 sided balcony in the back of the map, at the end of it. Then to my amazement, i start doing the moonwalk. Then..kersplat. FISTED!

I was the last on alive, nearly depleted on resources and about to kill one of the Banshees. One caught up to me, pretty much breathing on me. I escaped until..



The blue area is where I was, and the Red path to the area is where I was Magnet-grabbed. 40 or 50 freaking meters.

 I've told this many times, no one has seemed to comment.

Firebase Jade, playing with my Drell Vanguard. I was near a Banshee, then charged to another target (I think it was a husk) across the map. The target was already dead by the time I got there, so all of a sudden, I'm dragged ALL the way across the map and impaled. Too frustrating!

It wasn't that bad for me, but pretty close.

Dagger/Reapers/gold. It was wave 8 or so and I was half way up the left corridor (from the control room) shooting at some brutes and the like with my valiant wielding SE. There was a banshee below in the open sort of area. As I was backing towards the control room shooting things, she teleported up through the floor and come to a stop directly against my face.

And the rest, as they say, was history.

I was on London, up on the balcony in the double stairs area. I'm in cover shooting at one banshee that's fairly distant, all is quiet (no screaming or teleporting pop noises going on) and the balcony was elsewise clear so I figure I'm safe. Nope, banshee on the floor below silently teleports right next to me and insta-grabs me with absolutely zero delay...freaking scared the crap out of me, but was also hilarious.

I got grabbed from behind two waves in a row by silent Banshees on Hydra once. It was so embarrassing. I rarely ever get grabbed... Scared the sh*t out of me tbh.

Clear across Rio. The banshee spawned by the extraction zone. I was at the furthest possible point from her helping a downed buddy. I slide alllllllllllllll the friggin' way there.
True story, we lost the match cause of it.

Mine was on Goddess. I was dropping down the ledge toward the outside to get away from her. When I hit the ground, I did this weird little lag dance for half a second, then started behaving normally. I thought it was just a tiny glitch, but two seconds later I dropped dead mid run with no button mash icon.
