Well, the gun looks good and sounds good, but I really don't see why a gun needs to be really heavy, have terrible recoil 'and' do a weak amount of damage.

I don't know, I can't see myself using this gun at all, and mixing it up and using different guns.

ooooooooooohhhh the M55 ARGUS, sorry bioware, that is not enough to keep me wanting to play the same redundant, boring, dull, and repetitive maps, with the same factions, over and over again. It was fun while it lasted, but I'm gonna have to say Goodbye ME3 and HELLLLLOOOOOO Boarderlands 2!

The sound that weapon makes is awesome, and that's the best word, awesome. But Yes, it is NOT a harrier. It takes forever to take down a Geth soldier with that weapon and the second shot will always bet from pelvis to head. ....still it is nice, to have something new. - Thank you

Thanks for the new gun. New stuff is always appreciated, especially in the wake of other big online play releases.

Can the gun get a weight reduction? Its damage output isn't high enough for it to weigh more than the Harrier or Striker. Or the Mattock, for that matter.

Played a round with it on Gold. UUG stuck me in a match already in play on round 1. Vancouver, Cerb. Argus at lvl X with AP/Stabilizer mod, lvl 1 incendiary, AR lvl 2, and densified ammo V.

It wasn't bad. I was using a TurSent. It didn't kill much. In fact, I had the lowest score of the group by about half. Pretty much because everything that I usually kill on my own was being taken down by the rest of the team. But I wasn't getting killed because of it, either.

The triple fire is nice. The non-cover accuracy isn't too bad. It seems much better when using cover. The reload seems ok as long as you're not the one being focused on. I didn't feel outclassed by the phantoms with it.

The problem was that it just didn't kill much. There was plenty of ammo in reserve. I think I got down to 40 rounds left in one round. With the trip. fire I really didn't notice the smallish clip between reloads.

The rifle, even at X, is still pretty heavy for what you get, though. And it just didn't kill much. It's not a bad weapon, but I think even the Phaeston may have it better, especially with ammo mods.

It's a novelty for now. Something different to try, but not likely to be a go to weapon without some serious buffs. Should work out well for Bronze/Silver. Is survivable on Gold. I wouldn't take it to Plat. unless I was looking to really challenge myself.

Starting today, the Argus assault rifle is now available as a random rare in multiplay packs.

The Argus is a high-powered rifle favored by senior C-Sec officers. An excellent close-range weapon, its bursts of fire ensure ammunition conservation during lengthy conflicts. Other law-enforcement agencies across the galaxy are adopting the Argus as their standard rifle, as much for its intimidation factor as its suppression power.

TRASH give it a buff. Increase stability and rate of fire a bit. No amount of character abilities and equipment can keep this gun steady enough for a decent gold match. Very frustrating...

You're exaggerating. I put a stability mod and a barrage 5 and it was rock solid didn't move much at all because stability was at 100%.

It needs either slightly higher damage per shot or a higher rate of fire and it will be fine. Maybe a slight dip in weight to make it a light assault weapon.

Got it to lvl X in 6 psp's. Tried it on gold with destroyer with some heavy consumables. Incendiary ammo 3, AR amp 3, AR amp V gear. Used stability & extended barrel mods.

Seriously this gun is just not good on gold and that too after using those consumables. Low damage & i personally feel that the delay between bursts is too much to dish out effective damage.

The Argus is a "high-powered" rifle? Only if 2 AAA batteries are considered high power.
