The most exciting thing about this pic for me is that because of the whip, then just maybe this game will include more of the 'exotic' weapons. Not just a whip, but like scythe, throwing knives, falchion, spear, or even something like a sword-breaker .

A bit at the start, middle and in the end. You can see a daily chart of the Wasteland 2 pledges here (scroll at the bottom). Every day that have a spike over 10k probably was a 10k pledges + a few more smaller pledges. Except for the final spikes those is just a lot of last minute pledges although there might be a 10k hidden in there too.Yrkoon wrote...
Some time today, we got another $10,000 donation.
An interesting little tid-bit I noticed: Wasteland 2 managed to attract 8 such doners. But having not watched its progress, I have no idea if those came early, or whether they were part of the final day push, or if they just came randomly. What's interesting is that PE so far only has 3.
I want some details on why the house is a stretch goal. Hoping for stronghold like quests like in BG2.NKKKK wrote...
We got the house folks

^ Having to eat. Harsher frendly fire, Gold having weight (although they kinda ruled this one out), having to carry around camping supplies for your nightly resting, and for that matter, having more limited resting areas, Not being able to hover your curser over an enemy to see how much health they have left.... stuff like that, I'd guess.

Expert Mode will disable all of the common ease-of-use / in-case-you-missed it gameplay elements like the display of skill thresholds, influence/reputation modifiers, and similar "helper" information. In a fashion similar to Fallout: New Vegas' Hardcore Mode, Expert Mode will also enable more punitive and demanding gameplay elements, in and out of combat. We're not saying we're going to have weighty gold (for real, we're not saying that), but if we did, you can bet that would be automatically turned on by Expert Mode.
