As a side note, I suppose I should let you know that Thomas Abram's contract expired at the end of last month.  I do not know if / when he will be back.  Sorry about that.

Run, run, run, using the pick-up distance difference to compensate for your movement. Very much like/identical to 'Flag Juggling' in Halo.

Oh cool, I'll try that next time. :wizard:

Fair warning: I hear it causes the pizza to bug out and disappear a lot if you do it off host.

Yes

and you pretty much start to run before picking the "pizza" and then spam Space bar as you drop and pick it up while still runing... but the chance of the pizza falling off the map is high if not HOST

Doing that Asari biotic move will make you go forward faster, you will drop the package when you're done but since the button to pick it up and the biotic move are the same, you will pick it up again as you charge forward. You can keep doing that biotic move until you're at the drop point, just don't charge into that highlighted area you have to walk it in, or else it the game won't register you dropping the package off and you have to walk out of the circle and walk back in.

Sorry, I was going to make some smartass comment like, "No but running with scissors is awesome!"

I digress.

I would like to know how you can do this.  PM me please. Moving fast due to gear, equipment, racial bonus would not be considered cheating.  If you can find a way to sprint, I don't see you being penalized for it.

As a side note, I suppose I should let you know that Thomas Abram's contract expired at the end of last month.  I do not know if / when he will be back.  Sorry about that.

This is true.  Also, never do it on Hydra becuase the pizza can fall through the upper level and then you are screwed.

It's fast, but if you mess up you can end up losing the pizza altogether and wiping.

If Bioware ever feels like fixing it, they can just add a half second or so delay to the pizza pick up.

it is a cheat IMO it wasn't intended to be exploited in such a way and can only be done on PC. Personally it doesn't bother me at all though

Walking backwards with the pizza or headbutting air with a krogan also increase the speed of the delivery on console.

Maybe he would troll the forums Abram Smashing as a non contract employee....that could be funny.

Moderator: Thomas, you don't work for BW right now...
Abram: Abram Smash moderator.

I don't know anything about Abram himself, but I'm not going to miss that stupid Hulk ripoff meme. It was funny the first gaming forum I went on and saw a developer pretending to be the Hulk. I was apathetic at the next one where there was another Hulk meme'er. Now it just makes my eyes roll.

I don't see how it could be cheating unless there is game tampering or a modded controller involved.

Since it's only on the PC apparently it doesn't have any chance of directly affecting me.

Aren't some of the glitches that are possible to exploit to your advantage achievable without any of that?

If they do decide it's cheating I hope that they don't go and ban people retroactively for it (although letting you know exactly what you can and can't do isn't BW's strong point - from an outside view banning some things and calling reload cancelling a feature looks pretty arbitrary).
