So I decided to get myself a brand new 2012 MacBook Pro, the 13 inch base model and I noticed that Dragon age II runs poorly on it compared to my mid 2010 MacBook. (I did upgrade my MacBook 2010 to 4GB of ram from the original 2GB)

Is this normal ? Everything else from Final Cut Pro to Batman Arkham asylum or Assassin's Creed 2 runs way smoother than before but DAII is barely at 10 FPS, and it could run on Hight on my 2010 MacBook...  (Even with everything at the lowest settings it still lags badly on my MBP)

I tried reinstalling it with no apparent success. This just dosen't make any sense, the 2012 MBP is more powerfull in every aspects ! I just don't get it =(

If someone has any idea what's going on please let me know !

I'm not sure it's your Mac. I have had trouble ever since I installed Mountain Lion with my 2010 Mac Pro

Hm... that might be it, I haven't played it on my old Mac since installing ML... Gonna give it a try !
I do hope that they patch this issue if it's mountain lion related...

It's a pain, but try changing the graphic settings to lower resolutions and that should help if it is related to ML

Weird... I just tested it on my 2010 mac and it stills work fine, and MacBook Pro still fails to get 10 fps on the same settings... Both computers are on the same version of the OS (the latest version).

I don't know if I'm missing something =/
I even used time machine so that both computers are exaclty the same but I get the same crappy results on my MacBook Pro... Oh well, there's not much I can do about it I guess...
