Hello.

Will there ever be a playable demo for PC/Windows? I don't know if I will like this game. Also, do I assume there's no multiplayer?

Thank you in advance. :)

Considering the sheer size of the game installation that seems rather unlikely, doubt many people would dl a 10+ GB demo...

The game is more similiar to games like Kotor or Mass Effect than it is to Neverwinter Nights or Baldur's Gate II.

That is to say you can play on the lowest difficulty if you want an action experience, or play Normal or higher to get a more tactical rpg experience.

Dragon Age is a blend of Kotor due to the way characters are developed, deep story, & the way the party system works, the inventory is basically an improved version from Baulder's Gate 2, the menu system & small character interaction are the only aspects of Mass Effect....thanks goodness.

Just youtube some videos its a tactical RPG so if do not like micro managing or have few patience then this game is mostly likely not for you. How ever if you are a fan at all of any RPG then you should at least rent it!!!

Some people think that trying a pirated game and then buying it if it's good enough is a fine substitute. Just one more reason there should always be a demo.

I can go to my local video rental store and rent Dragon Age for gamestation.  But my gamestation exists to babysit the cousins.  My tv is old.  Can't afford a nice, new widescreen.  I play from my PC but my old home's wiring is outdated.  That means I use a low lvl graphics card.  I want to sample games on PC to see if the graphics look decent.

It's a tossup.  Gamestation where the game doesn't fit right on the tv or PC where everything might be blurry to avoid lagg.

Anyway, I wish there was a PC demo.
