Why aren't the (cameo) ME2 Squadmates using their Loyalty outfits? Over a thousand factors counted for and squad loyalty wasn't one? :(

I think really the only one who shouldn't be wearing their Loyalty outfit would be Jacob... the hell...

I would like to point out that some of the Squad Loyalty outfits weren't THAT great.

Garrus had a great one.
Tali's was Meh.
Miranda's couldn't be used because it was screaming Cerberus Colors
Jacaob's was meh as well.
Grunt was in Cerberus Colors.
Thane had almost no change at all
Kasumi and Zaeed's Loyalty Outfits never looked good in my opinion.
Jack got a whole god damn redesign and it looks gorgeous.

I think a better question would be why we didn't get a nice new look for everyone like Jack did. Jack looks amazing. Too bad we don't have the time to properly admire it either.

Miranda could have used a redesign. Grunt could have looked great in a new set of armor and maybe with his head crest growing in a bit more as he is maturing.

Garrus' was a good one, but it is good that he bought new armour since then. Or maybe he repaired and chipped the paint off of it.

I liked the gold belts and whatnot for Tali's, but it is dirt simple. I think she changed outfits for ME3 right?

Samara's looked great black, the gold trimming is nice too. Would be cool if the trimming was red like how her borehead band was.

Mordin's was simple, but nice with the addition of some black armour.

Miranda's I liked (cerberus colours are dark blue?). Maybe rip off the cerberus logo and make the trimming white, it could still work.

Yeah, Jacob's sucked, but he's terrible in any form really.

Thane's was lazy.

It was cool that jack received a leather vest and faded her pants to grey. Her outfit and hair in ME3 is awesome though (I like that she looks like she's ready to go clubbing anytime).

I like Kasumi's loyalty outfit, but I think that's just because I really like red.

Zaeed looks awesome in red too. Though it is some very lazy work.

It's hard to imagine Legion decided to strip the paint off himself after he returned to the geth.

Grunt I liked. I thought he looked like he had Tuchanka colours.

I don't think just wearing orange and black will get you in trouble. It isn't like ME takes place in Compton. Just tear the Cerberus logo and you're fine. Hell, Shepard can even wear orange and black armor (or Cerberus armor, logo and all) and no one seems to care.

I never really liked any of the loyalty outfits.  I guess most weren't 'bad', it was just that by the time I unlocked them I'd already gotten used to the characters in their default appearance.  So I never bothered using them, and I'll bet a lot of people felt the same way (and I'm sure a lot liked 'em; that's cool, too).

But before we blame that insidious anti-ME2 character conspiracy on this, too, couldn't we also consider the possibility that, with all the other stuff that had to be done to get the game finished on time, that this was something that was probably low on the priority list, and that they just ran out of time for it?  Jack needed a new look, but for most of the others their default appearance was already fine, and probably the version more people used...

Who the hell are ME2 squadmates anyway?

Oh, you mean those people I spent an entire game recruting and honing into an almighty team that ditched me the moment ME3 began so that I could be stuck with Mega-Idiot Vega and the Sexbot. Those people?

Amen.

Also, it's likely because the default outfits are more iconic of those characters, and since none of them (excepting Garrus and Tali, who are ME1 characters first and foremost) have major roles, they didn't bother to change things up, except to give Jack hair and and a vest.

I believe they (ME2 squadies) are also the same people who stole the Normandy from my Kaidan and Wrex. =]

Mass Effect: San Andreas?

Sure would be fun, tbh.

When did the Alliance change their logo and colors to exactly match Cerberus'?

I for one, totally expected Thane to be rocking those DLC shades in the hospital. Drives the nurses wild.

But actually, I expected completely new outfits for all the ME2 characters in ME3. They've all been wearing the same crap for +6 months. I kept running into a guy once who wore the same thing for a week straight and he stunk like hell.
