I just started playing ME3 today and thought I'd try out the multiplayer, but I can't seem to get it to work. Whether I try quick match or creating a lobby, it just hangs at "Searching for online game" or "Creating online game" and nothing ever happens. It doesn't even display an error message to let me know what's going wrong, it just sits there eternally until I hit cancel.

How fast is your internet speed? This could be some kind of connection problem if the other online features in Mass Effect 3 take ages to load (eg the galactic map at the main menu).

I had the same problem with a great internet connection. I couldn't even cancel the search and I had to close it through task manager. I found a fix, though it still doesn't work every time. Go to Extras, Options, Online, and click feedback OFF. You should be able to play multiplayer now.

The problem resolved spontaneously and I was able to play mostly fine for two days, but now this is happening again. Can't create a lobby, can't join matches, I just get the "you have been disconnected" message every time. And I already have feedback turned off because I don't like being spied on. Like the last poster, I also have a great internet connection; I'm able to play every other game I have online with <50 ping on the right servers.

Issue fixed by repairing the install on all DLC's and ME3.
