I have been having this issue for the past week ever since I updated Origin (since I hadn't used it in a while, it was behind on a patch).
I've been trying to purchase Leviathan and every time I click on Purchase from the Game Add-Ons screen I get "Temporarily Unavailable." Even when I tried to get the Firefight or Earth multi-player pack it does the same thing.
Does anyone know if there will be a patch fixing this issue?

Sounds like you need to contact EA by phone. There was a similar problem earlier this year and after several tries using the chat option I used the call option and it was fixed in short order.

I buy the Bioware points through this site, and then I make the purchase of the DLC through the Main Menu of ME3.
If you have already purchased your Bioware points, try this.
Start the game whilst you are Online, from ME3's Main Menu, click on Downloadable Content, and then Origin In-game should pop-up and show you all the available DLC. Hope that helps...

Don't suppose you fixed this?
I'm having the same issue, customer service has been useless (done chat and call twice each, just passes my ticket on to some mysterious team that never actually follows up).
I get "Temporarily Unavailable" every time no matter what I do, in the Origin client OR in the ME3 Client.

I usually buy my Bioware points from this site first, but if you already have your Bioware points...
I was able to purchase all the DLCs I have through the ME3 In-game menu. Once you are in ME3, and Online, from the main menu, click on Downloadable Content, and all the DLC for ME3 should be available to you, just click on (Purchase) for what-ever DLC and downloading should start.
If you get dropped from the EA servers whilst downloading, the download will pause. Just exit ME3, (do not exit the Origin's pop-up paused download) bring up the Origin window from the Windows Task Bar, click on Go Online and then continue your download. Hope that helps...

Thanks, everyone! It ended up working for me.
What I had to do was purchase Bioware points through Origin and then call customer support. The live chat is awful...Anyway, I got really good and efficient service and the support desk guy asked me permission to log into my account on his end and he was able to purchase Leviathan with my
Bioware points. Then I logged back into my Origin account and the DLC immediately started downloading. It's kind of a work around process, but at least it worked. I think this will help you specifically, neph001, since I had the exact same problem.
