Is it just me or does every companion using the same animation get a little repetitive? For DA3 I would love to see each squadmate have thier own set of slashes, staff attacks ect. Same for boss characters. Anyone else agree?

Inb4 "they have limited resources and current technology limits this!"

Clearly such people haven't played Dark Souls where nearly every weapon has its own unique set of animations and moves. If Dragon Age 3 has 8 companions, giving them a few unique animations and moves wouldn't really be that hard. Should Anders really be an martial art expert with the staff because I don't recall him being that back in Awakening. Seriously if we get an amateur mage in DA3 who is instantly a martial expert I am going to facepalm so loud that everyone will hear it.

NWN was like Dark Souls too in that nearly each weapon type had its own set of unique animations.

I mean having unique animations for every companion + bosses isn't a must for me but I just wanted to propose an argument against those who might come forth saying that "Bioware don't have those type of resources" because last time I looked, Bioware was an AAA developer.

I think there should be some unique running animations too for companions and the character. Though I am rather happy with the current male standing and running animation so hopefully they don't swap it to Shepard's running animation in ME3 where he runs like he's **** himself. Female running animations? Yeah they need to be changed. Who the hell sways their hips as they run? Mind you, if I had to choose between female Hawke's running animation and female Shepard's running animation in ME3, I'd choose the first. At least Hawke doesn't look like she's rushing to the toilet.

I'm not concerned with similar combat animations, but I would love to see blocking and parrying of attacks.

This I know, is limited by technical restraints, unfortunately.
