Go big or go home.

It's like EA and BioWare standing next to each other.

Either do it right, or don't do it at all...or learn from Witcher 2.

Like if you were in the Deep Roads and you kissed Morrigan in front of Leliana to hurt her feelings because you lead her on while romancing Morrigan. I mean that's a moment they wrote for and I laughed at because I'm an evil bastard, apparently.

Honestly, I prefer something like a kiss followed by fade to black, because as it is, graphics limitations make anything more than that look clunky and awkward. When I'm playing an RPG the last thing I want is to experience second-hand embarrasment for my character because the pose they're in looks so goofy.
What do you want to call them then? Just because we didn't actually see the act doesn't mean it didn't happen. They had sex.Wulfram wrote...
DA2 was good, though I wouldn't call them sex scenes.

You seem to misunderstand something. I'm not against any sex scenes - I'm against sex scenes that are just thrown in there for the heck of it, instead of using it when it actually fits with the characters and their story.ImperatorMortis wrote...

How about... no sex scene? I know, shocking. Still, in recent Bioware games it feels more like the romances has been pasted on the rest of the game as a sidequest where the ultimate goal is to get the NPC to bed. Well, the main problem is probably that the romance pretty much ends directly after the sex scene.
Another thing is that I really don't think it should be decided from the start that all the romancable characters will have a sex scene. It should depend on their personality and the timeline of the main story (have the characters know eachother for a week or several years).
For example, I have no problem with Isabellas sexscene in DA2. If anything I'm surprised there weren't several, considering her personality and the game taking place throghout 7-10 years.
On the other hand, I was really surprised that Tali had a sexscene in ME2 at all, considering all the talk of quarians never being able to take of their suits. Wasn't there even some dialogue in a citadel about the whole situation to? the whole "no, don't do that! Don't let some human spoil you". It would have been interesting to see how they made a romance with Tali where you simply never had any hope of ever hitting the sack with her, and knew of it beforehand.
You know you can just not get with anyone or skip the scene if you're so against sex scenes.
