Shepard is never used in MP promos or teasers. Shepard is clearly shown in that image.

Honestly they did not talk about MP.  It was mostly about building Mass Effect and all the premutations that went into it and what not.

But that was a way to show the connection between the multiplayer and the singleplayer modes.
I also put my bet in the next SP DLC since bioware did the same with Leviathan, however the picture is too blurry for me to take a accurate guess.

Anyway, nice way to keep everyone curious for the next weeks.

Theres more than one collector ship. Not Sheps fault that all the collector ships werent back at base at the time

Maybe a Collector ship was away from the base during the suicide mission. We know there's more than one.

Pretty much this, it would be idiotic for them to only have one ship, we know they had more(thanks to Vegas story) so it's not far fetch there are survivng Collectors.
