No they did not hint at MP DLC and like I said they really didn't talk much about the MP aspect which surprised me seeing as we were in Montreal.

That does look like the Collector Ship (or Base) to me, though I don't see why it would be the Collector Base when it could have been blown into 44 pieces.

Regardless, I'm intrigued. I guess this means an official announcement should be pretty close.

Collectors would be a pretty viable enemy. I don't know why people assume that the one base Shepard (could have) destroyed contained ALL the collectors. As someone mentioned ealier, it's been 50,000 years and they harvested the entirety of the Protheans (which, as Javik mentioned, was later used in their cycle as an umbrella name for all the races they themselves had conquered). Why would they have one base roughly the size of Omega? Or what's the llikelihood of them all being present? Add to that the "Miracle at Palaven" codex entry stating that some collector swarms were present during the battle, and suddenly, Collectors don't seem like such a farfetched enemy. I don't care the difference between "swarms" and "drones". Pretty sure if you have one, the other is nearby somewhere.

Edit: Also, maybe all collector ships don't look the same, right (I mean, why would they)? So, that ship (it's definitely a ship) is almost definitely Collector material. From what I can make out, anyway.

Yeah. The devs have said multiple times via twitter that there were multiple Collector Ships

I was assuming it was a Cerberus space station that was studying the Collector base through the Omega 4 relay. But it could be a Cerberus Cruiser, it could be a Collector Ship, It could be the Collector base. Who knows.

All I know is the Collectors had multiple ships and there was bound to be more collecting collonies while the base was being destroyed. So Collector survivors is more than possible

It looks more like a flying space turd Collector Cruiser than Omega. Omega has a bulbous end, with a smaler end on the opposite side.

I find it disappoiinting in some ways that Bioware's PR dept doesn't do a better job of getting a teaser image like this on the website faster...I get waiting until after the event, but once it's out there, its out there...why not give it to us on the website and let the speculations run wild.

Can we get some mathy person to do the math on the length of a cruiser compaired to Omega? Maybe we can tell if its a cerberus cruiser or collector ship next to omega or a collector base that way.

NDA should not apply to a company website...after all I am not asking some random person off the street to get a high rez shot of it on the web, but the company itself.  After all isn't the point of the teaser to generate interest in the upcoming product...what better way to do that than to maximize its exposure.

not more flying cigars, i thought the illusive man was done with them after ME2, I'm surprised how he is able to gives all those long speeches after all those smokes, i really hate the word speculation now, though gotta say this at least has me wondering what might happen, but knowing the writing team it might just be overly hyped, then zip, just 400 more war assets, still should be somewhat interesting.

Very interesting. I'm always looking forward to more SP DLC.

I doubt it has anything to do with Collectors though. Theoretically some could still exist, but I don't think they'd bring them back. The base is gone in 67% of all playthroughs, too. Maybe it's some Cerberus space station where the tech of the base is studied.
