It seems our Montreal studio dropped a new DLC image at their panel at Montreal Comic Con. Those tricky devils. I wonder what it could be.

But she does have big connections with Cerberus, and we can speculate that Cerbeus needs Omega to better reach the collecetor base, or whats left of it, to find technology to control the reapers, which can lead to Sanctuary and Mirandas father.

Yeah she had connections with Cerberus even if this is kinda of a big leap.
Anyway, i said that because i believe is better not to go play the DLC thinking she will be there and later become disapointed or angry if she doesn't appear.

I don't see how Miranda has anything to do with Omega.

Urhm, yeah, hi, Cerberus attacked Omega to control the space & access to Omega 4 Relay where they study Reaper signals, indoctrination & control which is exactly what Henry Lawson does too for TIM

From all the talk in the twitter thread i would say they are the ones responsible for SP content. ^_^

Why is everyone so happy for Omega DLC?

A huge potential for fantastic mission + new hub potential (including new scenes for LIs in the hub) + Miranda return potential

I'm not even that excited if it's a new hub. Omega isn't a pretty place to look at and I didn't like the omega hub on ME2, I doubt there will be a great deal of LI scenes if there are any either. I hope i'm wrong.

Edmonton is the main studio, where Bioware is traditionally based. They handled most of the SP campaign as far as we know, and as far as I know all of the writers are based there.

Montreal is a newer studio, it helped Edmonton with ME3 (most obviously with most of the MP and some of the DLC). Mike Gamble has been hinting for months that Montreal is also working on other things, which could've included Leviathan, this DLC, more MP DLC... etc. The goal for Montreal is for it to grow enough to handle whole projects by itself, but it seems to have a lot of artists and gameplay people.

Basically, both might do different things at different times, but they also work together. It's not like one exclusively handles all MP content, and one does SP. They're two parts of a bigger Bioware studio that is working on ME3.

Shepard is in the pic.

It's going to be SP. Normally I'm just as tempered in all my expectations as folks like B.Shep (I would love more Miranda content, but it will be a pleasant surprise if she makes it in) but in cases like these, I mean, come on. >_>

That looks more like an Alliance or Cerberus Cruiser in the OP picture. If it's the latter they could plan to raid it and go for the Trojan Horse strategy in retaking Omega.

ME2 size might be pushing it. Might be smaller. Wouldn't mind smaller.

As long as it's as least the size of the Presidium Commons with Afterlife included I'm happy. If it's the size of the Shadow Broker base.....it needs to be bigger

I don't think ME2 size is unrealistic. ME2 Omega wasn't even that big to begin with. It certinately didn't have much content - like 4 sidequests, Aria to talk to and 3 stores. The rest are stuff for Mordin, Garrus & Samara's missions.

Considering that level designing team most likely wasn't really involved in EC DLC (since well, there are no new levels there), I would think they would have more time to create more maps for DLCs

A retake omega dlc is most likely in the making. However, would be great for a change if it would be without Shepard (he/she can't be present everywhere). Something where the player could control Aria maybe?

Aria, Another hub besides the Citadel, a chance to interact w/ the only pro Cerberus enemy (Petrovsky) who hasn’t lost his mind, probably won’t affect the end so no expectations to fall flat.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for Miranda being in any DLC unfortunately. I would love it, but I can't see Bio using a character that could be dead. I hope I'm wrong and they just say "screw it" and put her in anyway.

More SP DLC? Sounds alright. Leviathan was good, so I'm looking forward to more story content. Guns, armor, and outfits would be nice as well.

More MP? No thanks, lost my taste for it.

How much do you want to bet that Petrovsky will be a War Asset?
