Voted for games that actually deserve the award.  Like Journey.  That game was beautiful and amazing in just about every way possible.

No. The best moment in gaming maybe, but they had Batman Arkham City's ending in the same category, and that one was absolutely brilliant. That was a true work of art. So no, I will not be voting for ME3 for anything, unless they have a Biggest Disappointment category. That one it would win hands down.

Yeah, Tuchanka is great for ME fans, but the AC concusion transcends the game itself.

Honestly? I think that statement right there is what most people are secretly afraid of. That Bioware is so far gone that the EC really IS all they're capable of anymore. That EA has sucked them THAT dry.

What I meant by my statement is that they couldn't completely rewrite the ending. They retconned and added what they could without making the rest of the game's narrative irrelevant.

They had to work around what was already there.

Well, I enjoyed the EC thoroughly (even though I hated the original endings and bashing Bioware everyday for nearly 4 months because of it)

So, maybe you should just accept your opinion as your own.....and let it go

I found it enjoyable. It made each ending unique its own way (even though I disagree with at least one).

What I meant by my statement is that they couldn't completely rewrite the ending. They retconned and added what they could without making the rest of the game's narrative irrelevant.

They had to work around what was already there.

The frell they couldn't! Want to fix things? Don't retcon it, add more endings! Add a couple of new ending branches! The Marauder Shields comic is proof that a competent writer can take the very same game universe, information given, and characters, and create a completely different ending concept. Adding a different branch to follow would free them up even more. And you cannot tell me that people wouldn't have eaten up a successful Refuse ending, even if the EMS to get it was insanely high.

No, Bioware CHOSE to stick with what they had.

Were the endings really that terrible?

Hope Dark Souls and The Witcher 2 get a fair shake. By far the best games I've player this year other than The Walking Dead, which should have no problems clinching best downloadable.

Well in addition to not making any sense to a lot of people and disregarding our choices, it made it so the trilogy had no replay value at all imo. I played through ME1 and 2 around 6-7 times each. I only played through ME3 once, I tried to do a second playthrough at one point but gave up because I knew nothing mattered in the end.

Pretty sure he's just waiting for ep 4-5 to come out before playing it. I was going to do the same but then ep 1-2 were free for PS+ members and I couldn't help myself.

TWD game is actually better than the show. It should pull in an award or two.
